- Luka Doncic made a step back 3PT FG with 00:03 seconds left on the clock and the Wolves could not convert on their final possession as the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves, 109-108 to take a 2-0 series lead in the Western Conference Finals. Luka Doncic led Dallas with his eighth career Playoff triple double as he tallied 32 points, 13 assists, and 10 rebounds while Kyrie Irving added 20 points (13 on 4-5 3PT in Q4) and 6 assists. Daniel Gafford (16 points, 5 rebounds, 5 blocks) and Dereck Lively (14 points, 9 rebounds) added 30 points for Dallas.
Naz Reid led Minnesota with Playoff career-highs with 23 points and 7 3PM while Anthony Edwards (21 points on 5-17 FG, 7 assists, 5 rebounds) and Mike Conley (18 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists) totaled 39 points.
Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals will take place on Sunday, May 26 (8:00 p.m. ET, TNT/TruTV).

If the game is clutch, this Mavs team is the scariest team to face. They got the best clutch record in the season for a reason, they got 2 unstoppable playmakers that will cook you if you give them 1v1 coverage. Kyrie was massive in the 4th too.

Mavs are super streaky this season. They have periods throughout a game where they don't score at all, and then there are phases where they are absolutely unstoppable. I remember the game they were trailing by 38 and brought it all the way back, unfortunately losing it in the closing of the 4th quarter. But you can never count out the Mavs this season as long as their starting 5 is healthy.
