I bought gel plates like 3 years ago before my Grandma passed away and never really worked with them. So I have no stash of papers. I'm still working with the fake flowers. Tomorrow, I'm gonna go around and pick some Daisy's and queens Ann Lace. I bought a big pack of tissue paper. I'm not sure what kind you use or is needed, but what I've been using doesn't rip when I pull a print. But this is very inspiring to get the plates out. I bought a big one for 8.5x11. And a smaller one. I'm loving it! ❤❤❤ I come from a long line of German printers. Thought when I bought them, it connects me to printing somehow. ❤❤❤ Thank you!❤
I hope you have so much fun getting to know the plate! It definitely does take some getting used to. I could never get it to do what I wanted in the beginning, and there are still some days where nothing seems to go right, but the whole process is great nevertheless!
I thought the original was nice but I really love the bird. Thank you for sharing how you “fix” something you’re not crazy about. Looking forward to the bird collage and your next fix.

I absolutely love how you transformed a piece you didn’t like into something so amazing. I love the bird; it’s so colorful and cute!❤
I didn't hate the orig but it is now very cute and colorful. Can't say I like dealing with charcoal.
Beautiful
