You and the Word have been my early morning companions for the last 780 days! And I’m looking forward to the next 780! God bless you, Pastor Davey, for (as J. Vernon McGee was fond of saying) “putting the cookies on the bottom shelf” for us! And you never asked me for a single penny while doing so. I then complete my morning “feast” with your daily sermons offered online by Wisdom for the Heart - all provided free, with no pressure for donations from those with whom you share your wisdom - worldwide. Your (non-perishable) reward awaits you.
I have been so blessed by this journey. Thank you, Pastor Davey for opening my eyes to the meanings of passages I never had a full understanding before, especially including the Revelation, which scared me every time I read it, as well as all the history lessons. I'm looking forward to the next journey.
Thank you, Dr. Davey. My husband and I have followed along on this first three year journey. What a blessing it’s been! We look forward to starting again but must admit that we hope the Lord Jesus will rapture the church before the next three years are over. Come Lord Jesus!
I have been with you during this first 3 year journey and will continue through subsequent years. Praise the Lord for his many lessons! I too am looking for his return!
Yes, I add my thanks too. What a wonderful 3 year journey it has been! 🍃🕊️🍃 thank you and may God continue to bless you as you share insight into the Bible with us.
To all who have enjoyed the wisdom journey, I encourage you to check out Pastor Davey's original messages from his full length sermons. I've been listening for about 9 years and still don't think I've heard them all. Excellent expositional preaching ❤
It has been an incredible journey, looking forward to doing it again! And if there was 'one' that I would like to repeat every week would be the one where he said suppose you had an unknown rich uncle that left you an incredible inheritance of several million dollars. You are excitedly on the way to the bank when your car has a flat tire. Does that discourage you? NO! Because as soon as that tire is fixed, you are back on your way to the bank. But then you meet someone who is mean and cruel to you. Does that discourage you? NO! Because after you are nice to that person and past them, you are back on your way to the bank. So it is with life. Problems sometimes it seems every day. But are we discouraged? Ok, maybe a little but then we remember, realize that what an amazing eternity we will be celebrating thanks to God's mercy, patience and His gift of His Son Jesus Christ. I don't remember what lesson that was but I DO remember it every day when things aren't going well. David Adams, Mobile, AL
Thank you, Pastor Davey, for the three year journey through the Bible. And did I hear you say we are going to start over with Genesis 1? Well, why not? The Word of God is living and sharp[er than any two edged sword. I'll be here.... it has become pat arrt of my daily routine to start the t in the Word and end they day in the Word through your teaching.
Thank you so much for this. I have followed along for three years and have truly enjoyed it. I has been a foundation in my bible study. Since you are starting over, do you have a schedule planned? What would the daily readings be? I would love to have it as I have found reading the scripture prior to listening to you is extremely helpful for me. I usually do my studying in the morning and have a limited time and larger reading sections are hard to cover. But if I knew in advance, maybe I could carve out more time. Thank you so much again and God Bless!
