Single mom, paycheck to paycheck living. I have driven in to get my oil changed, I know how to pump gas. With your knowledge and amazing video I was able to do all this myself. Even more the van still runs 🤣. Your video helped more than fix my car, you helped me build confidence in myself. THANK YOU!
After watching 3 videos on the subject I found this to be the finest by far. Clear video, close ups to see what’s important and only shows what’s necessary. Great job!
Others said it. EXCELLENT VIDEO! SUPERB! Tool sizes, no fluff, clear pictures, description of key points, part numbers. I have fixed many things using youtube videos. This video is the VERY BEST I have ever seen on UA-cam. Thanks so much. Bruce, Midland, MI
I graduated from an automotive school in 1970. There was a Dodge Dart slant 6 at the time. All plugs on one side. You could sit on the fender well with your feet inside the engine compartment. Relax and change the plugs. Things have changed. I considered changing plugs in my Town and Country but wondered where the wires were? Your video was outstanding. Everything made sense and easy to follow. Perfect 10!
I had #6 coil go bad on my '15 T&C. This video helped me fix it... took me a couple of hours ( didn't put the manifold on right the first time) but it runs great!!! THANK YOU!!!
This is the best how to video I have ever seen. This fellow is straight to the point, no ughs and such, just well articulated instructions with excellent video to boot. He mentions all bolt sizes as well as the torques for each. Very, very professional.
Thank you Barricade, this video was well-edited, and well lit because seeing all those fasteners clearly helps tremendously! Your narration was direct and technically-accurate with socket/wrench sizes and torque specs and Part Numbers! And I especially like how you make it so the intake plenum can just be swung out of the way instead of completely removed, that’s a time-saver! Excellent DIY video!
Very clear video and great instructions, including tool sizes and replacement part numbers. No annoying music, and not trying to be super flashy. Just showing us how to get the repair done , clearly and concisely. Well done!
What an awesome video! Excellent flow and instruction. Just wow! Finished my plugs today. Watched other videos that were annoyingly slow and covered insignificant material. Yours was soooo much better, different and to the point. Thank you for making it.
Thank you for the help. You made a great video. Straight to the point on how to do it and you explain the needed tools and parts. You make it so easy that even a person not familiar with cars can do it. Keep up the good work.
Im about to do this job myself, just getting the tools together. I got a quote to get this done for $1000 from one mechanic and $485 from another. Your video is by far the best. Ill be back in a couple days and let you know how it went. 👍 Liked and subscribed for saving me a ton of money 💰
Thank you sir for taking the time out to make such a precise video. As I student of UA-cam University, this helped me get my wife's van back in action after a mere 5 hours ( that's with minding my 2 boys - 3 and 4 running around my garage, taking a conference call, and running to the parts store to pick up the coil packs and plugs) and saved myself $500 by doing it myself.
Thank you!! I've never done anything more than changing a tire or plugging one. But I didn't have the funds to pay someone to do this, so I had to take on the challenge. I'm happy to report, there were no check engine lights on in my car this morning. "I am woman 👠, hear me roar" lol 😂
Thank you so much for this video! I had a couple error codes come on last night, so I decided to try fixing it myself. After researching that the codes can mean bad sparkplugs, I found your video. I definitely couldn't have done it without this video! You saved me hundreds of dollars and taught me something new, thank you!!
Excellent video. Straight and to the point. No guess work on the tools needed. This man lets you know everything you need and where everything is on the engine.
I was thinking being a V6 that the back bank of plugs was going to be a pain in the butt to change however after watching this video I'm thinking this is something that I can do. Thanks for the great video!
I like to thank you for well explaining how to video. I was a bit hasten to attempt to do it, BUT WITH YOU BY MY SIDE it was a piece of cake. Again thank you. God Bless You. Víctor A. Polanco.
Man, very informative and well shot video. You scared the hell out of me when you used the impact driver to remove the spark plug though... that could go back real quick. I will be using this on one of my vehicles and you definitely saved me some dough!
YOOOOOOO Thank you for the detailed step by step video. I'm going to subscribe just because of how confident I felt about doing this job DIY because of this video.
Well done video. Super clear and easy to understand. I'll be referring to this today when I replace my cylinder 1 coil for $35 as opposed to several hundred dollars at the shop. Are the cylinders labeled or is there a way to know which is 1?
Excellent video very well presented with lots of detail I watch the video before yours the person didn’t even speak was really happy to find your channel now I can get a change my plugsThanks for sharing that info and I will subscribe
Thank you for this video. It really helped me a lot! Very well done and easy to follow for a novice like myself. I appreciate the reference to tool sizes as well.
In the description can you include the tool sizes needed and the other part numbers for the plugs and packs? Other than that this is one of the best, no B.S., instructional video I have watched in a looooong time on UA-cam.
Great video dude! I paid $350 for the tune up due to all the parts stripping, now it has to be stripped again cuz the #2 cylinder has an issue. Ignition coil I guess.
MY MAN!!! EXACTLY, and I mean PRECISELY WTF I needed to do wife's '12 Racevan ver. 3.0. When you started rifflin off part numbers while we all's trying to write shit down.... hilarious!! I'm all about it, really!! IDK if anyone else thought, "Hey, i should write this shizz down...." about the time i did, but if...you may have backed up a bit...👍
Last week I was charged $1900 to replace the 6 cylinder and it was still driving really bad. I brought it 2 more time for them to realize to change the coil on my 2016 Chrysler Town & Country
Hello guys, I'm a DIY Beginner. 2012 T&C Touring L 3.6L, my first repair. The only concern I have whenever removing the intake manifold only for a repair job is I am told the six seals always have to be replaced when intake manifold is removed. Is it true especially for this job? I did not see you replace the six seals. I did this job exactly as shown in video. (goto question 2)
Thanks for the video. It really helps. A couple of questions... how long for the average person to do this job, and how much milage before the plugs are replaced?
(Question 2) After the job, the engine start and idle after ran a little rough and shaking at random. I gapped my iridium spark plugs by aligning the left side of the side electrode edge to the coin gapper marker to .043 (Owners Manual spec) as it went up the coin edge. Haynes book says gap is .040. on 3.6L engine. I am sure I gapped them wrong and is why it idles irrattic. You gapped them using the rightside of the side electrode to the marker as it rode up the coin edge. The other 20 spark plug gapping UA-cam videos show them gapping by aligning the marker to center of the edge electrode as the rightside rode up the coin edge. So which method is the correct one to use? Align to the marker to the leftside, center or rightside of the side electrode? Thanks.
What happened if I got the same car same vehicle same model The mechanic changed my spark plug but my motor start shaking and my car cut off sometimes and I did not have this problem at first
My intake manifold is glued on with rtv. Whats the best way to remove it? I tried looking around for videos but i cant really find anything. Any help is appreciated
I cant get that air intake housing that goes to the throttle body with the air intake temp sensor back on. Second to last thing you installed. You skipped right over installing it. It has those two ball topped dowels in the back (same as the engine beauty coverl Can't get them to go back into their sockets in the air duct for the life of me.

Yes the back plugs are easy to replace just like the front ones so there was no point in showing that. I also replaced the coil packs while I was in there which is why I gave you guys the OEM part number for both coil and spark plugs. Its all easy but removing the manifold can be tricky without a visual which is why I went into great detail during that process. Now you wont be as clueless as I was the 1st time I did this job lol

Probably one of the best repair videos I've seen. Replacement part numbers, socket sizes, lighting...well thought out.

Googled help for this and this is where it led me. Great video even 4yrs later. Very helpful and got the job done. Thank you!
Thank you so much. I have determined this is too much for me, but your walkthrough was the best I've seen on UA-cam.

I am a stickler for correct terminology and when he said "ball detent" and "resonator" i was impressed!
I was thinking being a V6 that the back bank of plugs was going to be a pain in the butt to change however after watching this video I'm thinking this is something that I can do. Thanks for the great video!
Thank you so much! You saved me, I had so much to do today! Did this in about an hour or so and didn't even break a nail! 💅🏻🤣

Well done video. Super clear and easy to understand. I'll be referring to this today when I replace my cylinder 1 coil for $35 as opposed to several hundred dollars at the shop. Are the cylinders labeled or is there a way to know which is 1?
The cylinders...
135
246
... So cylinder 1 is the last coil on the left closest to the fire wall.
2,4,6 are up front. 1,3,5 are in the back.

Hello can you please tell me when is coil 2 or cylinder 2 located
What torque the spark plugs must be tightened? 10 is too light.
Excellent, excellent video, my man. Subbed.
Does it matter what order I put the coil packs back in?
Very good Video! Thank you so much for the info!!!!
