Can't get meatball to spawn any ideas
I like that these public events arent timed.
I get it it's Kvostov and an exotic but jeez they basically want you to do absolutely everything in the pale heart for one weapon.
Ong but it is a really cool weapon plus it’s nice to just go ahead and get it out the way
they want to make sure people have things to do by week 3-4

Not true, just ran in the same instance in the landing and got the second boss twice in a row

It seems to be not random, but however if 1 person don't/didn't do it, it will spawn the missing one (so make sure everyone needs the same boss) and it most likely to spawn

If you do it solo you can leave the zone an come back in an the boss will change(don't go back to orbit or teleport out)

I was a little confused at the end of the video you said 15 motes. After watching the video again because I didn’t get the exotic mote and reading comments it turns out my triumphs bugged and said I completed all the bosses but I only have 16 motes. My last bosses were in the impasse.
Ever figure out a solution? I have 16 motes and have defeated all bosses from overthrow.
@@Gilbert_Eugene the meatball boss has been disabled temporarily bc ppl kept having their motes be launched everywhere, so if you happen to have not killed that boss yet you're sol till Bungo puts the boss back in.

Don’t know if this will help anyone, but if you have the meatball as your last boss like I did, DO NOT kill the boss fast. I took my sweet time shooting him with a primary and the exotic mote dropped with no issues. I melted him the first time and the mote was lost to time and space.
Also, from what I understand, the exotic mote just replaces your 16 motes. Just take the exotic one to the chest like Skarrow showed, then you’re done.
i killed the meatball with 16, it took my motes, killed it 3 more times, still no exotic mote. im just soft locked.

One helpful thing they could do is add a triumph tracking the motes of light. That way at leas you know which one you're missing.
For anyone having the exotic mote not drop at the meatball, walk along the walls ! i thought it had taken all my mote and not dropped me the exotic like many but i heard the sound of an engram near a wall and when i got close it picked up the exotic mote

What happens when you get the nine motes of light first, before getting the first set of 8. I defeated the nine bosses first, before getting the 8 motes from exploring, and when I got the remaining 8, and deposited them in the tower, it gave me the motes of primordial light, but cannot open the chest.
Nvm...I got it. I had to rotate around the chest, to prompt the open😂
Not sure what happened but I didn’t do these in order and the chest won’t let me open it even tho I have everything FML
I don't think the motes are disappearing, its dropping you the exotic one you need and just getting rid of the legendary ones from your inventory. (I FOUND THE EXOTIC MOTE BEHIND THE BIG TREE WHERE I KILLED THE MEATBALL BOSS)
So if the meatball does not remove the 16 motes from my inventory am I missing a different boss? Im confused
Anyone just not getting a 17th mote literally at all, I know for a fact I’ve killed every boss. And I’m somehow missing a mote, my worry is that it’s that bug with the taken servitor, but it wasn’t my exotic mote or anything so I’m so lost.
Glad I figured this out after I did all the Cyst quest. Now I gotta do them again lmao

took physical damage when you scrapped the Old Sterling at the start because im currently collecting them (I am now at 13 saved)
Do not Kill the meatball last, He actually is dropping the Motes usually but they get blown away to the far back of the room I had to kill him 3 times to get it. Manually track which bosses you need as the Triumphs are bugged. Bosses are RNG but seem to give you the ones you need if you stay in same insance and hop around from Landing/Bloom/Impasse.
Some bosses are just absolutely flinging the exotic engram across the map. If you kill that boss again it should work!
I have 16 motes of light, the only Overthrow boss I have to fight is Koftiks in The Blooming area. But no matter what I do he *will not* show up and it's driving me nuts. Does anyone know if it's bugged or something?

@@Levisclip No I haven't. But I did find some new info as I posted about this on Steam Discussions too and someone told me that the boss was temporarily removed from rotation due to the bugs causing it to make people lose their motes when collecting the final one from him. Hopefully they fix it soon.

Had the meatball glitch. Killed once, reloaded the area, killed twice, started over in the same area, spent the 5 minutes checking trees and rocks, third time got it to spawn in the back left of the room where the boss dies, not particularly close to anything, just saw it floating in the air then it fell.
Do you need to cycle back to it or does it just spawn meatball again
@@Gigachoungus If you wait out the five minutes it'll spawn all the events again and doing them will lead up to the same boss spawn, at least it did for me

Unfortunately, I incorrectly believed I fought all 3 bosses in The Blooming because the triumph cleared prematurely. So now, the meatball was the last boss I needed to kill and because of it I lost all my motes and the exotic never spawned. There really needed to be an in-game PSA because it's only NOW I find out about bug with The Blooming bosses
UPDATE: I FOUND IT!!!!! IT WAS HIDING IN THE FUCKING TREE!!!!
NOTE TO EVERYONE IF YOU KILL SERVITOR BOSS LAST IT CONSUMES YOUR MOTES BUT DOESN'T DROP THE EXOTIC ONE BUNGIE IS ACCTIVELY WORKING ON THIS

I killed the Meatball last- I had 16 motes of light and needed 1 more, I heard the exotic drop but couldn't find it.. the motes had been converted and I didn't get the exotic. So all the motes are gone and I basically just got robbed

So I was just doing this quest I did all the traveler pickups first then went for the bosses and it randomly took all the Motes out of my inventory what the actual fuck and I can’t even reacquainted them if I wanted too because those Traveler collectibles are a one time pickup.

I was intentionally trying to do the meatball first before doing the rest of the motes of light but it didn’t drop a mote, the taken vex and oger both dropped it but not the meatball, should I do it again bc it could of got clitched or is it just not gonna drop in general?
If I haven't killed a boss every day in each zone due to prepping for raid, am I able to just grind all 9 bosses tonight or do I have to wait till Saturday/Sunday to finish it?

This sucks because if you don’t grab the keys during the ending of the cysts, you have to completely redo the alone in the dark quests to gain access to the final areas of the cysts. So have fun spending hours getting all of these again if you didn’t pick them up. Then you have to go do all of this? Fuck. I’ll pass on this gun for now. Real bad quest design for this one.

All in one day but I'm not sure if all based on luck or what decides which boss you get
You can get them all in one day. And yes the bosses ARE NOT random. They'll actually give you the three bosses for each area consecutively.
Kill the meatball first though!! He's in the Blooming. And make sure you pick up each mote after you kill the bosses; they don't go straight to your inventory. Keep your eyes on what drops when you kill them.
How do you know which boss i have already fought?
Unfortunately, because the triumphs are bugged I have literally no idea to tell which ones you've done.

Be careful currently a bug where all your motes can just be taken away instead of turning into the key. Happened to me when i was at 16 killing the final boss i needed.

@@Skarrow9 Ive tested the boss i killed before i lost them 3 times still no drop, ive also killed bosses at the other locations a couple times just incase and still no drop. At this point its the final cope. Appreciate the help though.
Yeah it's a bug JUST for the meatball boss. If that is your last mote for 17 it will bug out and you won't be able to get the gun. It's a known bug but as it stands, DON'T do the meatball last.

If you’ve done the Cyst quest 6 times, (it should jave a “cysts discovered” type stat when picking it up from Micah again), you have all 6 unlocked. Theres only 3 bird activation locations, but for 3 of the cysts versions, you actovate the bird, THEN a another version of the bord appears which if you activate the second bird it will become that 2nd cyst. so for example, maybe you start the “Moth Cave” Cysts in the Landing, but you need the “Swords” Cysts. Once you activate Moths, a second light bird spawns that should say “start Swords Cysts”. if you hit that second bird, swords will be what you do. but if you dont activate that second bird, Moths starts. Hope this helps.

@@Skarrow9 after testing i got it, thanks a lot for the three parter videos.
I killed the bosses wondered why it didnt drop at 16 and as i farmed overthrow and cycled through all the bosses again and the 3rd at the Landing was checked in the triumphs but wrongly so.
I got it now and working on a support build with the weapon, so again thanks a lot.
Of course the one exotic everyone was really looking forward to is hidden behind 20 quests 🙄🙄

The only other exotic that shouldve been craftable beyond osteo and its not probably bungies 3rd biggest L this dlc after not having a zavala boss fight, and the server issues
ngl this is way too much work for an exotic that is not even that good they should have just made it the first two steps then you kill one boss
NOTE!!!! The triumphs for tracking which bosses you have killed IS NOT accurate. It is just randomly completing for some people. If you are missing motes, but have all the Traveler statues, you are DEFINITELY missing some Overthrow bosses!!!!! SAVING THE MEATBALL BOSS FOR LAST CAN BUG OUT YOUR MOTES SO DO THE BLOOMING AREA ASAP AND NOT LAST.

Yep I had 16 motes and they disappeared at some point. (I believe it was when I killed the meatball, which was my final boss.)

How do I get the leg khovostov back I deleted it on accident and I can’t grab it out collections
Bungie sent out a tweet saying that you will probably have to wait. They disabled the pull from collections due to some issue. Not sure when they are going to re-enable.
I just wanna know what the ornament looks like because I’m not finished the campaign yet, but the khvostov is probably my most hyped exotic this expansion
