  • On a beautiful winter day, I set out to the woods with the tractor and draw knife to peel several 32' long white pine tree logs that were cut down a few days earlier. These logs will be used as beams to tie the outside walls together on a big old barn project I've been working on.
The video link of that project will be posted here, when it becomes available.

Hey, good job. You might want to add a little narration to your video. Anyone who clicks on your video is expecting commentary. I would re-edit this video and add your thoughts. Tell us when you cut the tree, what time of the year it is, where are you in the country? and do you hate doing it? Do you find it therapeutic? Do you like or hate doing it.?

Good suggestion. This video isn't being watched much, so that must have something to do with it. I may remake this video and include what I used the logs for...

That looks like a lot of work. What in the world you doing with them? They would make great legs for a new hunting blind. Lol.

I intend to use them as stringers to tie the walls together an old barn. If they were to be used as hunting blind legs, it would certainly be a tall one!
