Because your pin board is directed right in front of you when you’re sitting down, I would suggest putting a list of simple things that you want to memorise but aren’t a priority of yours. That way, when you naturally look up and read out those things in your head every time you study, they will become more engraved. Something that worked for me while study :)

I'm sorry for being one of those people but I just have to say that having hand sanitizer and using it often can be quite harmful - mainly adding to the rise of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. The more antibacterial handwash and gel we use is furthering our inability to fight infections as they become resistant and able to spread more of these genes to other bacteria. If you were immunocompromised (on immunosuppressant drugs or undergoing chemotherapy) then definitely use it (or at a hospital) but homes without any threat of multidrug-resistant bacteria (common in hospitals) and with people with functioning immune systems - it is not needed. At all. Washing your hands with hot water and soap will do just fine.
I get pneumonia basically once a semester due to my poor immune system but I religiously swear off antibacterial hand sanitizer unless I am working in a hospital. It's not worth it and foresight is important.

That isn't always rue. If it's just ethanol, then there's no danger of antibiotic resistance developing. It still isn't ideal, because immune systems thrive on having bugs to fend off, and a very sanitised environment keeps your immune system from keeping up.
@@MissFilpFlop I do get your point however, bacteria do have varying tolerances to alcohol, assuming shes using a 60% ethanol-based hand sanitizer (www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2178781). And also, more recently, bacteria have been found to actually become tolerant to these levels, especially since the more we use them. These genes are not able to be horizontally gene transferred between species but still occur, especially if we use them at a higher tolerance. www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/322646.php. Your last point about a sanitized environment is true in the case of young children, in conjunction with vaccinations, but it's not really applicable to adults. Sorry I'm a medical biology major.

Your desk is so organised! Mine at home is very small so I struggle to keep it tidy, and it also proves quite a pain because it is difficult to use my laptop and a notebook simultaneously. But seeing yours gives me inspiration to try to keep it tidy and as useable as possible. I’d love to see a video about keeping track of recipes and healthy eating while at university on a budget as well seeing as you mentioned your recipe book and finance tracker. Cooking and food is the one element of university that I’m dreading! Anyway, great video Ruby!
