Synopsis:
During the Tang Dynasty, during the era of "Zhen Guan" (era name during the rule of Emperor Tai Zong), the young Xuan Zang monk, in his quest for knowledge in Buddhism, embarked on a journey to India, that is fraught with perils and dangers, natural disasters, and sees the sufferings of the common people, all in the quest for Buddha's teachings.

@@areebachewa8318 ok i can agree with that one. But there's no denying that buddhism was on the decline in india before islam gradually took over. The university was probably already in partial ruins in the 12th century. Because let's face it, asking people to abandon their notions of self, and therefore avoiding getting caught up in conflicts over territories and resources, and rejecting the very evolutionary-honed instinctive driven nature for survival and what made the human race so dominant and resistant to extinction while so many others perished, was just not gonna work in the practical world
