very nice tutorial nice paintjob just what i noticed you cut of the seam but you still could see a bit of it i use my dremel to get the seams more away on my mask almost till you had no seam but i really find this usefull video gonna take it with me if i gonna paint my predator mask :)

This looks more like the Joe Ta 13 amature! Did cut of the overflap edges with a round nail cutting pair of scissors but with a way to large flat pair instead. And he should use citric accid to make the surfis skin more rouf so the paint would attach much better, especialy if it will be worn. But who am i to say!?

I've used superglue but any glue like gorilla glue or something would work too. Also I've seen people cut a small X in the center for the dread and push it a little through into the mask and then glue it, gives a little more hold.

You mention using 20 pounds of pressure, is not that much pressure? I had the intention of painting over 2 to 3 kg of pressure regards

I’ve heard resin comes out much more finished and ready to go than the filament printers but then you have to deal with the resin toxic fumes, cleaning, storing, etc. so it’s a trade off but I’d love to have one side by side to test!

It doesn't have to be the exact colors you use either this is more a general guide so if you go out and see a shade of say brown you like better you can use it instead. I do plan to get with Joe and do some updated tutorials and I'll have a detailed list of all his colors etc here in the near future.

I don't recall the brand off hand but if you got to a Michael's or hobby lobby just look for a clear gloss spray and find one that says flexible. There should be decoart or krylon, and others.

I like the iwata eclipse line, good airbrush and not super expensive.

Lol dont worry about cleaning it too much scott never used an release agents on anything i bought from him some stuff i got was fused together

It’s not printed it’s a cast of a sculpt. That being said however I did just order a Elegoo Neptune 3 max I look forward to messing around with.

You could use spray paint for the base coat (I do) and acrylics should be fine as well.
So basically mix the adhesion promoter and primer together for the base coat and do I need to use some kind of protector once I'm done painting?
yes, at the end when you're finished you'll want to seal it. Look for a flexible gloss spray at your local crafts store.

Yea you'll need to thin with water, 1 paint to a 50/50 of adhesive and water. Should thin it enough to shoot it.
