VR cockpits are a game changer for sure, but it makes sense that the tech would lend itself to that sort of thing. No need to figure out how to simulate moving around the environment. You're just sitting semi stationary in the cockpit, and the environment is moving around you out the windows (screens) like a traditional gaming experience. Really immersive without needing to re-invent the wheel. Also it's a proven concept because of all the cockpit sim arcade machines there have bee (as lack luster as most of them may be). I'm honestly suprised more flight simish games haven't been developed for VR. I assumed they would be a dime a dozen by this point.
