I paid $50 for a 2005 Town Car Signature last year. Mine wasn't so good though. It was wrecked and the guy just wanted it gone. Ended up just flipping it for a couple hundred bucks for it to be sent to a demo derby next year. The rear end was completely destroyed and 2 of 4 tires had blown clean off the rims. The front was messed up pretty bad too. Nevertheless, it fired up and ran great with 0 lights on the dash. Had 230k on it too.
The bargain of the century. My brother had a 2003 for years until it unfortunately got totalled in an accident. Wifey. These cars are great and comfortable. Had that sucker at 129 on the way to Palm Springs. Must buy.❤❤💜💙👍🤑😎
This particular Town Car is kind of an enigma. It's an Executive, but is optioned like a Signature. Executive is supposed to be the base model, but this one has a factory moonroof, factory heated seats, upgraded steering wheel buttons, and Signature Series wheels. Also, the two tone was typically on the upper trims. I actually had a 2000 Town Car Signature in dark green, and it didn't even have the heated seats, despite being a Canadian version!
It has the old fashioned steering system including power steering box mounted to the frame with pirman arm, center link attached to tie rod ends. 2003 was first year of rack and pinion steering. The 4R70w transmission is weak especially the torque converter. My share ti the video based on multiple experiences over the years with the Panther platform...
Ah a beautiful Panther! Such underrated (and under appreciated) cars, that's why I imported a Mercury Grand Marquis over to the Netherlands, and the Dutch guy who owns it now takes great care of it! Better than the life it would have had back in Florida.
I love the two-tone paint on that TC! Just took a very similar 2000 Town Car Cartier on a 10k-mile road trip around the USA; it (mostly) did well and it was super comfortable.
You can wire a Bluetooth module to a 12V source behind the radio, run an aux cord to a wireless Bluetooth module outside the dash and you can control your music and phone over the wireless module on 87.9 on the radio, while only needing to charge the Bluetooth two or three times a year, and I drive about 150 miles a day. Have one in my 1993 Roadmaster, 1987 C10 and my 1986 Thunderbird. Costs me about $50 per car and an hour of my time. Keeps the classic styling with modern amenities!
This car is an absolute bargain. A clean Panther is a fantastic cruiser and can be found for cheap almost anywhere. I prefer the facelift Town Car but this one looks great with the two-tone.
We have a dealership here also that does this program sale . They have a couple $99 cars but you don’t know which ones they are . So you line up and they say go ! You run to the cars and have to be in the drivers seat . When the auctioneer painstakingly goes by each car asking for bids. he finely reveals that’s the $99 one

It’s on the list to get fixed and the top part to be painted pearl white. We also got the SAP removed from the paint. For $99 we got $2,100 into it so far including tax, license and dealer fees. All in, we will be into it for less than 3k. The car is worth making GREAT AGAIN😂

@jaredgarza5075 I was paid weekly for over 10years and its a blessing but now I work for a bigger company and yeah you only get paid 12times a year so takes a lot of planning to make sure you got the funds when the bills are due 😅
When I saw the control for the heated seats at 3:34, I thought for a second "BACK or BOTH" meant that you could control heated seats for the back seats. Which would be kinda funny, the driver controls it. You could say "sorry back seat passengers, no heated seats for you today!"
Lincoln was upset when Ford decided to stop making cars/sedans in the USA because they wanted to offer a sedan to compete with Cadillac who was still making sedans after the Lincoln Town Car was discontinued

It wasn’t wrecked. The aftermarket headlights we bought for it were broken. We have since replaced the headlights with a different brand and not “Smoked” in color. The front bumper was repainted at some point, but the fenders and rest of the car is all original paint. We are also going to have the top of the front bumper painted correctly in the original Pearl White
yeah it was $99 cus it's pretty ugly lol but hey, a car is a car, even if it's an ugly blob, but it's got aircon, couch seats, aux, and will shelter one better than any motorcycle ever will 😅
