Forgot to mention that we have TWO new awards for the official roster of nominees: Best LPS Customizer in the creator category & Best LPS Commentary Video in the video category! 💕
I really appreciate the effort and work that goes into these awards, and I love that I got nominated this year and the years before that and congrats to the other nominees as well. Furthermore, these awards, even the categories and nominations themselves seem to be very repetitive and unfair. I know they’re meant to celebrate the years of Lpstube and the entire community but a part of me really feels like these recent awards really don’t acknowledge and appreciate the evolution of how the lps community is currently and how diverse it truly is. And I know it’s not on purpose, but a lot of these awards kinda put people in the mind of “if you don’t have x amount of subscribers, then you won’t get nominated” or “if you don’t create x kind of content you won’t be nominated” which is also unfair considering how diverse lps creators are. These awards are meant to celebrate creators in all forms and of all ages, but it doesn’t always come across that way. It seems as though we’re celebrating the same stuff every year and the same people win every year, granted last year was a little different but even that moved the same as how the other awards did and have been for quite some time now. The amount of categories as well also seems really limited to what people get nominated for. I’d love to see more categories thrown out there considering that a bunch of creators create a MULTI genre of things such as thriller, romance, horror, and so much more. Not only that, it’s not really fair for the lpsTUBERS to get bunched with the lpsPHOTOGRAPHERS and lpsCUSTOMIZERS in ONE category either. Its one thing if it’s someone who creates and does photography, but if it’s a genre strictly for photography it would be fair to allow nominees who kinda fit that criteria instead of bunching everyone in one. I get the awards ceremony is really huge but these last 3 years, at least for me personally, it also feels really limited to what it can accomplish and kinda bunches us all in one. Please don’t take this personally because I know it’s not your fault Ms. Puppylover and like I said putting this very event together is a LOT on your shoulders especially on your own, I respect you for that. But I just really hope next year does a lot better to achieve more and gives more opportunities to award and help uplift and recognize some really fucking AWESOME creators who create some cinematic masterpieces, photographers who create the most beautiful pieces of art, and a lot of other creatives who create some really amazing things. Especially considering the newer generation of creators, content, and the overall surface of the community in general. And with this all falling on Lps DAY, these should really work to expand and evolve a lot more in the future.

Similar to past features such as the LPS Pet Sitters Club or LPS Connect, I'd love to see additional elements to the website such as a monthly newsletter, interactive polls, downloadable wallpapers, and more!

I remember when people would come together just to talk more often, be it via live-streams or chatrooms. I miss things like that. I feel like we generally don't interact with each other enough anymore. I would like to encourage anyone who might read this to try interacting with others more. Little things can already do a lot. Comment under peoples posts more often, maby join some chats on platforms like LpsAmino; don't be too shy to reach out to people you look up to, they are people too, and if you see someone reaching out, remember to reach back. Let's create a more social and supportive environment in our community. Together, because we cannot be social alone.
