yea my go to build is the ride and snare starting quarter notes then 16s depending on the song added with the kick. our sound engineer says i start clipping when i do it 😂😂🤣 ive been working on going through the toms to finish the build into the groove.

I start builds with 8 notes, ride and bass. With a little snare at the end.
