Great to see and hear Chris at his brilliant best. The songs all have a lovely story arc. I miss Steve's swing, this is the best drummer they've had since. Good fit and energy,
As a drummer myself, not having Steve's swing back there is like trying to listen to the Stones without Charlie Watts. I just can't do it. The new guy sounds like shit playing Hard to Handle. So stiff and boring.
Definitely the best lineup theyve had since them getting back together we all miss gorman and ford but thats not gonna happen so just deal with it and enjoy hearing the crowes material being played live
The collection that came back after the 2002-2005 hiatus was more talented than this collection IMO. Warpaint, Before the Frost and After the Freeze all stellar releases IMO. Not saying this collection isn't good but they don't top the collection from after 2005.
Really? I liked Brian Griffith and Joel Robinow. This is fine but I feel like I've heard them better. Also, had to keep track of the lineup changes (even since 2019)
Cheers to you for saying this- I love SG and MF (and Johnny Colt for that matter) but it’s time to look forward and not behind! Let me share the ride with the new crew!
Such a great band, and the sound is fantastic- but who the hell did they hire to man the camera shots, some amateur??- Why are there NO shots of the lead guitarist tearing up on his solos?? Ridiculous!
Once again, they are killing it! Love the Black Crowes! Love the slowed down and country sound on She Talks to Angels. Shout out to Matt Pinfield!! One of the greatest!! Loved you on 120 Minutes!! 🤟😎 Music is life!!
I LOVE the BLACK CROWES!! They are one of THE BEST live bands ever since they arrived on the scene! And they can STILL Rock and Roll with the best of them!!!!
As someone who saw The Black Crowes over 40 times I just wish they would of came back as the Robinson Brothers. I get name recognition and all that but No Mark or Steve not the Crowes imo. Chris and Rich are amazing musicians, looking and sounding great the new music is good what I have heard of it, they are coming to my home town on 4-20-24 may go check it out but $80 for upper balcony??? Nico's slide playing on "Angels" very tasteful
Unfortunately the days of musicians making money off of record and CD sales are pretty much over. Touring combined with merch sales is the way to pay the bills these days.
I also like how Chris has naturally aged in appearance and insanely remarkably more so with time and nature's change of his much lower, soulful vocal key. Feels like Southern supper time 😊.

I think it’s great they are still making music and it’s good music, especially with such a tumultuous history. While I still have a soft spot for the original band (in particular Steve Gorman), I’m glad they’re still doing it. 👍👌
The Robinson brothers, are just better together. Great, they went off and did their own thing for a while but the magic is when they create together. I hate not seeing Gorman behind the kit or Ford on lead but the guys they have playing with them held it down nicely. Chris sounds killer and Rich is such an underrated player.
