I read your article with your brother in the Sunday Times Magazine and it was lovely to read something so special and about two people who may be in the lime light for huge amounts of their everyday day-to-day life and yet you are both so grounded (a huge credit to your parents) and I will forever love you both xxx
My grandmother always has a tin of boiled sweets in her car, so whenever she took us anywhere she'd always offer us one. Family members with sweets are awesome! xx
"In England they tell you to F off if you smile at them on a train." You know I think that might just be London… We're quite friendly and chatty in the north.
I am having such a rubbish time at the moment and I have felt really, really lonely. My heart is just sad. You are the only person managing to make me smile Carrie. You restore my faith in people and niceness and inspire me to be positive (believe me this is a miracle!!!). I don't think I can ever thank you enough for that. You are wonderful, truly wonderful and the world needs more people like you
love that put a twist on all the Ask Videos, the usual ones tend to get boring because there are always the same questions, but it's cool that there are gonna be different themes! I like it (:
Turkish delights just reminds me of Chronicles of Narnia... Also, I love your sense of humor, it's adorable :) and much better than all the bad puns I make all the time... :)
Gaaahh! That frozen reference! I literally rolled around fangirling over Disney after that. I just love that movie so much! And I love you carrie, you always make me feel better and your videos cheer me up and make me giggle, so thank you for letting us have a peep into your life with this Ask carrie series xx
"You long to do what you want to do, because you want it. To act on selfish impluse." I also may have had an obsession with PotC (mostly the second) and memorised that entire speech. Both Captain Jack's and Elizabeth Swan's lines. Oh, 14 year old Brittany. Seven years later and I still remember most of it.
Hey Carrie :) I was in a show called To Sir, with Love and the reason I went for the role is because I never really considered performing before but you inspired me and made me realise what I really want to do, and To Sir, with Love has been nominated for the what's on stage awards for best regional production so I went to vote for it and realised you're nominated for an award! Obviously I voted for you and since you're the one that inspired me it made my day knowing that you're up for an award as well as the show I was in. You probably won't see this but if you do I just want you to know that I am so grateful because if it wasn't for you I might not have experienced that feeling you get on stage and nothing else compares to it, thank you
I am not really sure why but when you sang "It doesn't have to be a snowman." I cried a little, that part in Frozen was just too sad and beautiful, the memories came flooding back!
I'm going to Florida in March too!! It made me so excited when you mentioned it, because i'm really looking forward to it! I've been before, but i just love getting to spend the time with my family doing awesome things! ^^
Hahaha This was the most adorable thing i've ever seen. I like when you do stuff like this because we get to see a glimpse of your personality, and it isn't as hard as coming up with something to talk about by yourself to fill a video. Your joke was quite hilarious to me by the way. So i guess we will have horrible senses of humor together xD
I think I've seen you tell that joke in about three different videos and it never stops being hilarious. :D Also the hopeful who made that doll should get some kind of an award.
I really like your background music right now Carrie, I think you should listen to an artist called Johnny Flynn, you'd like him, he also acted in one of my dad's productions recently :) loved the video!
I have really curly thick hair like yours and straightening it is a pointless waste of effort. plus curly hair is amazing and your beautiful as you are carrie. loads of love xx
Being an aunt is the best thing, because you get to spoil them. I let my niece stay up a little later than usual to watch Cars Toons (the Cars mini series), then let her decide what music she wanted to fall asleep to. Congrats, it's so fun!
Ahh I know what you mean! I moved to London from Plymouth and in Plymouth it's normal to smile at a stranger as you hold the door open for them or talk to someone in a queue sometimes but in London you literally can't talk to anyone... EVER!
omg! That doll is great! How beautiful! Brings back memories of one I had, It was Little Red Riding Hood on one side, and the wolf/grandma on the other (you pulled the grandma's bonnet over her face, and it turned into the wolf) :)
Hey Carrie! I was at your les mis performance last week! I was the one who screamed itswaypastmybedtime! Well me and autumn and maddie. I'd like to say hi! You did amazing and I was proud that a youtuber achieved what you have. #teamUA-cam. congratulations!
My brother and I were Thing 1 and 2 for the play Seussical (my mum thought it was adorable) but in the beginning on the play, The Cat the Hat, my brother and I jump out of a trap door and my huge blue Afro wig got stuck and fell off. We were performing for 3rd graders, so of course they weren't very mature about it.
I would also love to play Enjolras in Les Mis :) Also, since you know Do You Wanna Build a Snowman and you obviously like Frozen, you are required to do a cover of Let It Go. It would sound SO nice with your voice
1:00 Bless You! My two best friends and I used to act out all of Les Miserables together, just walking down the street or wherever we were. We would divide up all the roles among the three of us. I always had to be Enjolras.
I was thinking "either frozen or tangled" at the exact same time you said it! I saw froze for the first time today and oohhhh my golly it was almost up on the same level as tangled and all of its brilliance!
Carrie, you are an INSPIRATION!!!! I am an aspiring singer/actress and I envy you for living in a place where there is theater. Where I live isn't that "performing arts friendly" :/ But keep up the great work on everything you do!!!
Can you do a like "becoming youtube" type video? Like how you told your parents, how they took it, what your first video was, what you filmed on, how you keep motivated to edit and stuff, what you edited on, questions like that? I think it would probably help people who are starting youtube. It would help me because I'm just starting youtube xx
I saw les mis on new years eve and was surprised to see you in it!!!! I didnt know you were in it before i went and I just wanted to say you were amazing!!!!! Im pretty sure you were my favourite character !!!!
Relationships? You're being awefully brave, Carrie! Isn't it tiring enough receiving all the "Alex" comments? :S :-) x Thank you for doing AskCarrie! I love this video and can't wait for more! :D P.S. Still keeping up with the @TheHopefulNotes!!:D x
HI Carrie, I love your videos! I love your voice and listen to your music all the time! Maybe you could do a video in the future giving advice on singing techniques (specifically for a beginner :)). An Ask Carrie or not, whatever you think is best! Love your videos, Maddie
That gift is so awesome!!! When you were showing the doll, you said something like, "And it gets even better!" And I thought, "How could it get better?!" Anyway, I really enjoyed this video! It made me want to do a video like this where I answer all the questions you answered (because of course I don't have anybody who would send in questions if I asked them to haha). But the problem is I'm, like, really bad at making videos because I don't have a camera or an editing software. I can only upload, like, one minute videos from my phone. If any Hopefuls know of a way I can fix my problems cheaply, please let me know. I would be eternally grateful.
Aw man, mine if for bottle water as was the pre-video ad. And the 10-20 ads before that. I don't think they have many sponsors for the New Zealand region :P
That doll was top notch! I loved your elephant impression too. Yesterday I saw Frozen with my boyfriend (for the second time) and although it's amazing (obviously, seeing as I watched it twice) we both strongly disliked the way they presented women. The main girls (esp in Frozen/Tangled/Aladdin/Most Disney Movies) are always skinny with big eyes and small noses and perfect everything. The trolls mentioned that people make bad choices when they are upset or angry but the disney babes never make mistakes that aren't accidents or come from bad motives. I fear that this instills a correlation between outward beauty and character within children, as well reinforcing a destructive 'ideal' image of women.
Random happiness seems to be frowned upon in NYC too. If you're having a good day and you smile at a stranger, they will look at you like you're absolutely bonkers.
If you are going tot disneyworld in march who will be playing Eponine? And for how long? Because i really wanted tot go see you but it would've been around that time.
I want a music-related AskCarrie-video! I own a music-channel myself and it would be cool to know more about your music. What inspires you to write your songs, when did you start, goals and dreams, favorite artists/band atm etc. Would be cool to see if we've got anything in common! :)
I actually remember reading somewhere that you don't just make up people in your dreams. Any person who shows up in your dreams is someone you've seen before, be it a good friend or a stranger you passed on the street and only saw for three seconds. Apparently somehow your subconscious is able to tap into that memory where you can't? But I could be wrong, so if anyone has info to combat this, please let me know. :) I just thought it was an interesting fact!
Mhhm I´ve heard this too. Apparently your brain can't invent faces, so any faces you see in your dreams are of real people. Just keep this in mind whenever your feeling down because if you've met one of your favourite youtubers/bands/actors/etc you could be in one of their dreams.
Lasisalunatic well you can invent a new face, but you cant picture it perfectly, you need to have seen the face to picture it. But if your say writing a story, you can invent a combination of features that you have never seen before.
Carrie you really need to do a Let it go cover! The Idina version! Your voice is wonderful and with your live for Disney, it only makes sense that you sing!
That doll is wonderful! What a fantastic gift (that will serve as a Les Mis memento as well)! If you find out who made it, let them know that I think they're awesome.
Bless you Carrie! Aww an aunt with sweets, any kids dream. XD OMG I first thought that dream was hilarious until the guys got attacked by a dog. Funny how they wanted to be frogs though. sweet and salted popcorn I think taste good. :D Aww I think it would be really sad watching you sing A Little Drop of Rain. That's amazing how many times you get to go to Disney World! :) I am going in August. I saw Pirates 3 times in the first 2 weeks it came out. Curls >>>>>>> straight hair. Do not straighten it! haha That's the cutest doll! I love that joke!
I fell that we should have a national 'Be nice to everyone on public transport' day.
I think this should be everyday
I think you mean "I feel" not "I fell.
Family members with sweets are awesome! xx
Bless you! 0:58
Just about to comment the exact same thing haha!
you go to the same bloody Starbucks every time! you are far too easy for people to stalk. see me after class!!!! xxx
You know, ducks can fly and swim. Waddling is not their only option.
OMG that doll is genius! Really, whoever made that should go into business and I'm sure that they make a million.
Carrie, I love you, but if you were a duck and in danger, I would recommend flying away instead of waddling.
Who (our age) didn't have an obsession with Pirates of the Caribbean when they were a teenager?
Your videos are so cozy. Coming to your channel is like coming to your home and being a guest. It's like having a friendly talk with a cup of tea.
Bless you for sneezing in the video. Stay lovely and thanks for sharing your hopefulness ;)
"In England they tell you to F off if you smile at them on a train." You know I think that might just be London… We're quite friendly and chatty in the north.
I am having such a rubbish time at the moment and I have felt really, really lonely. My heart is just sad. You are the only person managing to make me smile Carrie. love that put a twist on all the Ask Videos, the usual ones tend to get boring because there are always the same questions, but it's cool that there are gonna be different themes! I like it (:
That doll is amazing!! Whoever made it put a lot of thought and creativity into it
Turkish delights just reminds me of Chronicles of Narnia... Also, I love your sense of humor, it's adorable :) and much better than all the bad puns I make all the time... :)
Your description of the London Underground commuters is perfect. Thanks for articulating what we all feel!
To act on selfish impluse."

SO THAT'S WHAT TURKISH DELIGHTS ARE. Ever since watching the first Narnia movie I've really wanted to know XD
The doll and the little case are both so incredibly well done, so to the person who made them, I stand and give you a slow applause.
Oh my goodness, that doll is incredible!!! Wow!
I was so excited when I saw the title of this video that I got up and danced around! I love these types of videos. Awesome video, love you
Hahaha This was the most adorable thing i've ever seen. I like when you do stuff like this because we get to see a glimpse of your personality, and it isn't as hard as coming up with something to talk about by yourself to fill a video. Your hair is so beautiful! I loved this video (:
I really like your background music right now Carrie, I think you should listen to an artist called Johnny Flynn, you'd like him, he also acted in one of my dad's productions recently :) loved the video!
I whispered 'Bless you' when you sneezed haha what is my life.
You make my day just so much better knowing that there is an equally bubbly and kind person :) I love you Carrie ^_^
That doll is fantastic!! I wanna make one of me now....
I have really curly thick hair like yours and straightening it is a pointless waste of effort. plus curly hair is amazing and your beautiful as you are carrie. loads of love xx
Your answer to the Frozen reference made me very happy. Great video, Carrie!
This was cute. Glad you're making it a thing now and doing it as a series.
Bless you! (You sneezed) love the video! Xxx
Loved this video - can't wait to see more! That gift is so cool and must have taken ages omg!x
Ducks are my favorite animal too, Carrie! My friends think it's weird but the way they waddle and quack is just so cute!
EVER!
Anyone else feel the need to say "bless you" when she sneezed? Yep, I did!
I instinctively said "bless you" when you sneezed, too.
This was fun! I love that you've been making more videos, they always make me smile (:
omg! That doll is great! How beautiful!
Brings back memories of one I had, It was Little Red Riding Hood on one side, and the wolf/grandma on the other (you pulled the grandma's bonnet over her face, and it turned into the wolf) :)

We were performing for 3rd graders, so of course they weren't very mature about it.
I have been in Seussical before and I played the part of JoJo and I once tripped as I was walking on stage to start the show.
I would also love to play Enjolras in Les Mis :) Also, since you know Do You Wanna Build a Snowman and you obviously like Frozen, you are required to do a cover of Let It Go. It would sound SO nice with your voice
The doll and case are so cute!!! And I absolutely LOVE the cat ears
They look like you shot a puppy when you say bless you when they sneeze :P made my day
I love the cat ears!!! I've been wearing a pair for a bit and I've had people look at me weirdly and meow, I don't care, I love them :D
1:00 Bless You!
My two best friends and I used to act out all of Les Miserables together, just walking down the street or wherever we were. We would divide up all the roles among the three of us. I always had to be Enjolras.
This is an amazing idea Carrie! I can't wait for the next one!
I was thinking "either frozen or tangled" at the exact same time you said it! I saw froze for the first time today and oohhhh my golly it was almost up on the same level as tangled and all of its brilliance!
Carrie really does feel like an older sister! thanks for being so sweet and awesome for us all(:
love youu soo much carrie x
Oh my gosh, Carrie!!! That doll is actually so adorable!!!!
That dolly is super amazing and I would totally purchase a bag or apron made out of that hopeful fabric!
Love you carrie! Your so inspirational and really hve opened the eyes of so many people to happiness xx
Pirates of the Caribbean T-shirt? Sounds like you were an awesome teenager! :)
Carrie, you are an INSPIRATION!!!! I am an aspiring singer/actress and I envy you for living in a place where there is theater. Where I live isn't that "performing arts friendly" :/ But keep up the great work on everything you do!!!
You and Toms article in the Sunday Times was really good! Found it really interesting!
OH MY GOSSSSSH♥♥ THAT PRESENT!!!! Somebody is delightfully talented!!!♥
Can you do a like "becoming youtube" type video? this was utterly hilarious! :) liked it a lot and i look forward to the future askcarries
Relationships? You're being awefully brave, Carrie! Isn't it tiring enough receiving all the "Alex" comments? :S :-) x
Thank you for doing AskCarrie! I love this video and can't wait for more! :D
P.S. Still keeping up with the @TheHopefulNotes!!:D x
"And they look like you shot a puppy when you say bless you when they sneeze." They way you said that made my day.
HI Carrie, I love your videos! I love your voice and listen to your music all the time!
Maybe you could do a video in the future giving advice on singing techniques (specifically for a beginner :)). An Ask Carrie or not, whatever you think is best!
Love your videos,
Maddie
I really like the cat ears, Carrie! You're so cool and I especially love the doll! You have the best fans in the world, don't you think? :)
THE TOFFEE NUT LATTE AND THE CHAI TEA LATTE ARE MY FAVOURITE DRINKS OMG
I screamed a little when you sang Frozen! I would love to hear you cover Let It Go! :) x
This *needs* to be a thing.
That gift is so awesome!!! When you were showing the doll, you said something like, "And it gets even better!" And I thought, "How could it get better?!" Anyway, I really enjoyed this video! Windows movie maker is a simple video editor and its free. just google it! =)
Renie Davis Thanks! But I already have windows movie maker, and it doesn't seem to work properly. It tends to shut my computer down when I use it...
My favorite animal is also a duck, good choice. Good choice.
The ad on the side is for the Frozen soundtrack. yessss
Aw man, mine if for bottle water as was the pre-video ad. And the 10-20 ads before that. I don't think they have many sponsors for the New Zealand region :P

This has just brightened my day!
The part where you talked about london was hilarious. I loved this video :)
When are you going to Florida? I'll be in Disney in March! Are you doing any meetups?
wow I wish me and my family could afford going on holiday that often, let alone to Florida!
Random happiness seems to be frowned upon in NYC too. If you're having a good day and you smile at a stranger, they will look at you like you're absolutely bonkers.
Frozen and Tangled are my favorite movies!!! So happy :D
If you are going tot disneyworld in march who will be playing Eponine? And for how long? Because i really wanted tot go see you but it would've been around that time.
Hahaha, the way you described English people was hilarious!
I want a music-related AskCarrie-video! I own a music-channel myself and it would be cool to know more about your music. What inspires you to write your songs, when did you start, goals and dreams, favorite artists/band atm etc. Would be cool to see if we've got anything in common! :)

OMG the bag and doll omg so much cuteness! x
That is an awesome gift!!!!!
Ahh I get a warm fuzzy feeling inside when I watch your videos:)
Aw I wish you were going to Disney in February! Love ya Carrie xx
Also saw Frozen the other day and I'm addicted to the soundtrack❄️⛄️❄️
That doll is amazing! Well done, whoever made it :)
