I do want to say that I follow a large number of homesteaders and your (and your siblings) vlogs are so peaceful and relaxing for me. I love your reminder to do what is good for your family and not feel compared to what others are doing. As long as your family is cared for and loved, that is what is important!
❤I have 3 days off work and the plan is to reclaim my home from the clutter/dust/fur now that the holiday decorations are back in the attic. Some coworkers said that’s sad, but what they don’t realize is a cluttered home means a cluttered brain. I rarely get days in a row off work without using vacation time. Today I’m enjoying my appliances, watching the birds at the feeder in between projects and thankful I physically can do this for my family home. 😊
❤Seasonal living - I find I can boost my mood when the weather has me stuck inside by simply putting the radio on, putting something in the oven that creates a delicious smell throughout the house and giving myself a chance to rest. My mom was a reader under a lamp light to boost her mood. My grandmother was a baker to boost her mood. Find what makes you smile and DO IT! 😊

So much self entitlement and poor me people these days who wouldn’t even know what real hardship was. 1 st world problem . Venison like beef is safe if cooked rare. If you overcook it, it becomes very tough and dry.
