A "Federated" digital ID is not the same as any other type of digital ID.. This is evil. Allowing government to determine the level of access you have in society is not something ANYONE should be in favor of.

I believe in a citizenship identity card that every citizen should be carrying and a card that can be used no matter where you are in Canada. This identity card can be used for your driver's license, bank account card for when you with to purchase something and can even be used when going to any clinic or hospital. Why should I have to have ten different plastic identity card in my pocket when I should only need one. With the technology that we have today I see that anything is possible.
