Great footage. The Fareway and North Western colour schemes on the vehicle body skins were so memorable (as was that solo advert)!. What a reminder also of just how much the volume of traffic has increased since the 1990s. Thank you for uploading, In the late 80s and early 90s as a teenager I can remember on the 14c route the competition between Merseybus and Fareway. Some dodgy antics....
This is great, seeing all the old bus companies and buses. I remember Liver Line had the #32 which went from Speke to the City Centre and it was unique as it went down Springwood Avenue and it had a radio, with speakers all around the bus.
I remember CMT which passed through Walton. At the time, I was based in the City Council's Long Lane depot. CMT ran, amongst other buses, a number of ex Cardiff Nationals.

Buses Magazine stated at the time that Liver line was set up by a young enthusiast with financial backing from Richard Branson.
