The raptors don't even need to cook food, they just walk in here, practice, go home. Now this is the life. Quality food made by a pro, exercise, rest of the day is life.
Also, driven everywhere if they want. Life details arranged by the team if they want it... houses found and furnished car, insurance, utilities, phone, cable, internet, EVERYTHING set up. OHIP, medical insurance dealt with. All medical stuff done. Need a local bank account? Done. Need basically anything? Done.
Yes, they are very catered to. Most things are looked after for them. It for sure helps with performance, but man, pampered humans can be a pain in the ass in real life. So divorced from reality. Most of these dudes - but not all - were high school stars, even if not well off, with everyone blowing sunshine up their asses, paying them so much attention, Making them think they're special. Then, when they get into college basketball on scholarship, even more of the same. Then, they entertain the NBA at 19, 20, 21 and they get so incredibly catered to, and they're so darn rich, and the ass kissing goes up one thousand notches. Wow.
@@srimmingtonify These players worked hard in their life. Prob should read about their upbringing. Seems like you're way to focused to trashing people so dont expect you to. Some of them lost fathers to tragedy, Ibaka barely escaped poverty, FVV went to college ball but went undrafted, had to work hard to noticed by Raptors, not all players are these "high school stars", everyone has stories.
@@blinkdoge I'm not trashing any individual Raptors players. I'm commenting on the craziness of the system, of capitalism, as well as the industry of celebrity, and how it can spoil, cater to and warp people. Read that again... "can." That doesn't mean it does or will. Just that it "can." Also my guy, NBA players don't have a monopoly on pain or hardwork. Lots of people come from difficult situations, work hard and don't get paid millions. Many of them are still struggling. What's your point?
