Thank you for an excellent video! Very informative. What are your thoughts about Expat seniors living in France? As retired educators (we helped a new school open in Lviv - Aug-Dec), we are exploring Poland (Dec-Jan), Estonia (Feb), and possibly France. Nantes looks amazing. Plus it has mild summers!! But, Paris is beautiful and walkable. And, Nice too looks beautiful and welcoming. We seek a walkable, affordable, and comfortable place to call home. My wife Cindy has MS, so calm is a required component. I grew up in Los Angeles, working & driving 24/7, so the European pace is very attractive. Thank you. Dean & Cindy
Dear Dean & Cindy, Thank you for your thoughtful comment, and we're glad to hear you enjoyed the video! It's wonderful that you're considering different places in Europe for your next adventure, especially with your unique background as retired educators. Nantes is indeed a charming city with a rich history and a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. Its mild summers and walkable streets make it an appealing choice. Paris, with its timeless beauty and cultural richness, offers a unique experience, and Nice, with its Mediterranean charm, is another fantastic option. Considering your preference for a walkable, affordable, and comfortable place with a calm atmosphere, Nantes seems to align well with your criteria. The European pace of life, compared to the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles, can provide a more relaxed and enjoyable lifestyle. As you explore potential locations, it might be beneficial to visit each place to get a feel for the atmosphere and assess how well it suits your preferences and your wife's needs. Additionally, consulting with expat communities in these areas could provide valuable insights and support. We wish you and Cindy the best of luck in finding your perfect place to call home in Europe. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask! Warm regards, My Walking tours
Thank you for the informative response! We have many places to explore. Our considerations include weather, accessibility, walkability, health care, and safety. Many different priorities than when we were 20, 30, 40, and even 50. @@MyWalkingTours1

Why it has less people in streets?
Nantes has about 300 000 people and the weather wasn’t great that day
@@MyWalkingTours1 nice info. Thanks
