It is great that she qualified for Paris. She still has time to increase her starting value by adding more complex moves. Her execution is always good.

Aleah made the smart and calculated move by choosing to represent the Philippines in order to have a chance at competing at Worlds. She had none back in the USA.
@@user-po5ec1cz2z if her goal is to compete more and have more exposure, she made the right choice competing for the PH. Her scores aren't defined by the country she represents anyway. This is all about growth for her.
Gymnastics needs to go to the Figure Skating way of doing things. They should have to release where the deductions came from because i have no clue where they found over 2 points.
Scores were in general low at this worlds. People got 7.3 E Scores without falls and just 17 people out of 151 people got a score between 8.0 and 8.3 and she was one of them....
@@tugasaku2643 I understand that but how did this go down all the way to an 8, landings and tumbling was great, splits looked fine, no way it’s 2 points in deductions
@@_youssef1989 The highest floor e score in the entire competition was an 8.266. Only two gymnasts scored an 8.2 or more. Only 17 gymnasts scored an 8.0 or more--out of 150 gymnasts. This means Aleah had an *excellent* e score. Her routine definitely doesn't meet several of the artistry requirements, artistry these days requires something more complex than NCAA choreography. That said, I agree with you that this was an EXTREMELY clean routine, and I honestly can't figure out the e score either now that I've taken a 2nd look.
Not really. Her execution score 8.033 was higher than Simone Biles' (7.933) and Rebecca Andrade's (7.933). She had lower degree of difficulty, that's why her score was low.

@@justlina2769 No worries! Always look at the E score compared to other athletes within the same event. It will give you a good idea how well the gymnast performed the routine. The judges can't do much about the D score.
@@tugasaku2643 She is doing both elite and NCAA. Many athletes are doing that now. Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, Leanne Wong and a few gymnasts on the Canadian team.
It was great! One of her best routines. A lot of theatrics and dance just not enough gymnastic elements. She only ran 3 lines. So her score reflects what was lacking. Most gymnast pack so many flips and turns into 4 runs. She was great in the NCAA. Unfortunate for her, this is not the NCAA. There is a big difference between Elite and NCAA gymnastics.
You clearly don't know your ass from your elbow. Her goal was to make the Olympics. She was way cleaner than the judges gave her credit for on all her events. For some gymnasts the goal is to be an Olympian. That was her goal. Just because you're an elitist doesn't mean she is.

Low start value. end run was a lowly 1 1/2 twist and not a clean landing. Not enough difficult tumbling to this exercise.
