I heard from someone that when first aplying you dont need a DBS certificate but youll only need it when taking the exam is that true can you apply without a DBS at first ?
You can apply for the Taxi assessment without the DBS. However, you cannot apply for the license without the DBS. There is a specific question which asks you for your enhanced DBS certificate number on the application for the Woleverhampton taxi badge. I really hope this helps.

As long as you still have access to the address if they deliver mail, then you will be fine. Because all of your address is supposed to be near London. It actually doesn’t matter where you live. It’s just about where you work. So you can’t use the Wolverhampton license for working in London. We have so many people that come from london.

As far as I’m aware, this was the case before, but I have had a few people come to get the license because they own vehicles that they rent out to drivers. So I think you may actually need a taxi private hire badge in order to have a vehicle. But I’m not 100% sure.

Hi Brother , they have changed the way that they do the booking for this course since I did my video. So all you need to do is keep pressing refresh during working hours and sometimes out of hours as well you can get cancellations. One of my drivers did this, and he managed to get the appointment within a couple of days and it was booked for around two weeks later.

Hi there, Sorry for the delayed response. I’ve only just seen this now. So the certificate of good contact is something that the police require if you have moved in this country recently. I’m not sure exactly how long they need. As far as I’m aware, they need it from as long as possible. As the enhanced dbs check is from birth.

Hi there, I’m really sorry to hear about this. Unfortunately I do not work for the council so I have no idea how are you can go about this. What I would suggest is that you raise a dispute via your bank. That’s probably the best way to do it

As far as I’m aware there isn’t much official study material. The teaching is normally done on the day of the assessment. The council teaches you everything you need to know. I found this on UA-cam which might help. He seems alright.

I don’t know when the council count it from but you could argue that the date at the back from when your entitlement started would be okay.
