I love Charlie's Angle's: Full Throttle. It was something new, fresh, unique, inventive, stylish, cool, edgy, hip, and updated such as the concept and theme due to it's witty and clever dialogue and humor, comedic moments, emotional resonance, and performance's by the cast. It has this fun, splashy, positive, upbeat, and carefree tone and element. It was decent. To this day I still watch it and I consider it a classic that. It never gets old.😍😎👍💯
I watched both the original Charlie’s Angels movies last night. The first one held up pretty well as a fun romp. The second one was utter crap. I don’t know where McG went wrong but after pulling off an entertaining action movie that’s over the top in a fun way but it still wasn’t mind numbingly stupid he gives us one of the most over produced, poorly written and executed sequels ever. The first movie was nothing groundbreaking but it was coherent enough and you could follow what was happening. In Full Throttle, the movie was so ineptly directed and written. Scenes tended to straight up defy logic, like why were kids in the middle of Malibu Canyon walking to school and how did Dylan drive to Mexico from Los Angeles and back in what seemed to be an hour or my favorites like how could Seamus walk through fire twice and how did The Thinman survive being caught in an explosion and not even sustain a single scratch? all just resulted in almost constantly getting pulled out of the movie. I gave up on what’s at least my third viewing of the movie after that extremely stupid scene at the bar in Mexico where Dylan talked to an invisible Kelly Garret who told her she should go back and help her friends. That was the breaking point for me. I haven’t seen the newest one, mainly because of how it’s pro feminism. I can’t entirely decide if it’s worse or if Full Throttle is worse. Guess I’ll have to just watch CA 2019 and find out for myself.
