Just a question about greasing the nipple for the forward foot pedal? On my 324 (which I believe is identical to your 424 other than wheel size), the nipple for forward pedal is largely blocked by the brake lever (brake either on or off). Thanks for a very helpful video.
I don’t remember the specifics but there didn’t seem to be anything blocking me. Not sure if I had the brake applied or not and I used a standard grease gun adapter. I will take a look underneath and if I find anything, I will update.
I liked the video! Please check your front axle fluid. The procedure you used was incorrect as the level is to be measured with the dipstick inserted but not threaded in.
You forgot the little fuel filter in front of the water separator filter, it comes in the Yanmar kit........that one is not so fun, next time I will clamp the inlet fuel hose so fuel does not run all over, it's a gravity feed.
@@mikegolfmike A little trickey but its manageable, make sure you use a hose clamp above the filter, its gravity feed from the tank and when you pull the filter gas spews out without a clamp on the line.
Thanks for the video. I think you are supposed to check the hydraulic sight glass with the three point hitch lowered all the way to its lowest level.
Thanks for info. I ‘ll check out the manual.

great video! Love my SA425.
Can you post the checklist you put together?
Let me see if I saved it. I just copied from the service manual and printed so I didn’t get the manual dirty.

Thanks. I will take a look at that.

Yikes. Thanks for the reminder.
How did you get to the inline filter?

Are you using off road diesel fuel? I notice fuel bowl is clear and not red....
I just use what is at the pump at local Shell station.
