The day started off a bit rough with rain pouring down. I was a bit sceptical about how the ride was going to turn out, but hey, it's all part of the adventure, right? The BMW Motorrad Inchcape Warsaw team was super cool and had everything set up perfectly, despite the weather.
As the clouds parted and the sunshine broke through, the real fun began. I cranked up the speed, and let me tell you, this bike is FAST. It’s like the rain never even happened; my clothes dried in no time with the wind rushing past. The acceleration is just phenomenal - smooth yet incredibly powerful.
The roads in Warsaw provided the perfect backdrop for this ride. From tight city corners to open stretches where I could really let loose, the M1000R was an absolute blast to ride. The balance and agility of this bike are just insane - it felt like it was reading my mind.

I was lucky because I went on Friday, no rain!
I tried the XR and GS 1300. Jesus fucking Christ, I finally felt the difference of a 2005 bike and a 2024 bike...

Sounds like you had an epic time on Friday! The XR and GS 1300 must've been a wild ride. It's crazy how technology evolves in bikes over the years.
I booked the R18 but had to switch gears last minute when I saw the forecast. Opted for the R1250RS instead before hitting the M. That RS ride left me drenched and I had enough, but my god I'm grateful I gave the M a shot. It's a whole different animal.
Everything about it just screams perfection - the engine, the quickshifter, the brakes, the handling... it's like they've fine-tuned every little detail to make it the ultimate ride.
Definitely a must-own someday.
