Im glad you said every group in kpop is different. Because most people who dont know about it but they hear a little here and there and assume they wont like kpop because that its "always the same thing". Um...no is not. Yes the standard/scheme of a kpop is very similar all across the board and from time to time youll see the same theme/concept but that same concept will look, sound, and be 100% different all across. Thats why fandoms are heavy in this genre and why stans are stans for a reason. I always say in kpop i promise you there is something for every. Single. Person. In. The. World. Because kpop is a huge melting pot of everything we know but.....extra. Ateez comes from a smaller, less known company, so their earlier songs had a much lower budget for music videos, although they did the most with what they had. Treasure, Pirate King, and Wave are some Of their Earlier songs that are so good. More recent songs that are amazing Don’t Stop, The Real, Deja Vu, Answer, Hala Hala, Inception, Fever, Thanks, Fireworks… and a lot of other ones that I can’t think of at the moment. I like Dancing Like Butterfly Wings too although it’s a bit different from their usual sound.

I personally would recommend watching the MVs/album listen in order for the lore since there's some hints for the next song or for the storyline hints( and hits different when you discover how their intros or outros are connected). There's an Ateez graphic where all the songs are spread out according to things like Mala/Energetic/Sentimental lol so maybe check that out. If you just want a feel of more of hard-hitting Ateez, I recommend "Hala Hala" and "Say My Name" together, then "THANXX", "Fireworks", "Rocky", "Win", "Pirate King", "The Real". I'd throw in "Deja Vu", "Inception", "Answer", 'Treasure", 'WAVE' for variety and spice or vibe. For songs that basically can send you into heaven (lol) try "Turbulence", "Be With You" (b-side), 'Take me Home', "Aurora", "Mist', "Star 1117", "Not too late" and 'Light'. Because you said you liked the choreo, I'd definitely check out ATEEZ's Hala Hala (Performance Ver.), Fireworks (I'm the One), and Inception. Actually, it's nearly impossible to pick favorite songs lol. They're a lot like Stray Kids and EXO that way: anything you pick is gonna be legendary in its own way. I think ATEEZ, Stray Kids, and The Boyz are considered some of the best 4th gen kpop groups. I don't know if you'd be able to react to it on YT, considering how MNet can be with some of their copyright, but you should definitely watch all three groups perform during the 2020 MAMAs as well as the "Triangular Fight" which features each group's main dancers. By far some of my favorite live performances!

They have some compilations together and they are really adorable together. :) I can't tell much about Ateez since I am still on my way to become an Atiny (their fandom), but so far I loved everything from them I saw. More recent songs that are amazing Don’t Stop, The Real, Deja Vu, Answer, Hala Hala, Inception, Fever, Thanks, Fireworks… and a lot of other ones that I can’t think of at the moment. I like Dancing Like Butterfly Wings too although it’s a bit different from their usual sound.

They debuted October 24th 2018 with the songs pirate and treasure ( Check them out). Ateez fans are called ATINY and Ateez concept it’s pirates, you’ll start to notice it more throughout some of their videos and when you get deeper into them you’ll love the theories as well. Something really interesting about ateez is that although they are from a small company they got very popular overseas due to 3 performances they dropped before debuting ( I will link them below so you can react to those as well!) they are known as one of the best performers in kpop because of their facial expressions and stage presence. ( if you watch their live performances you will see why I promise you they are truly amazing). honestly I have never seen a Group with the amount of versatility and uniqueness ateez have. I suggest you to start with their debut song and then go on.

Defffffinitely need to see Say My Name (not the TLC version, obvs), Hala Hala, and Answer, but if it has an MV, it's a banger. I personally would recommend watching the MVs/album listen in order for the lore since there's some hints for the next song or for the storyline hints( and hits different when you discover how their intros or outros are connected). There's an Ateez graphic where all the songs are spread out according to things like Mala/Energetic/Sentimental lol so maybe check that out.
If you just want a feel of more of hard-hitting Ateez, I recommend "Hala Hala" and "Say My Name" together, then "THANXX", "Fireworks", "Rocky", "Win", "Pirate King", "The Real". I'd throw in "Deja Vu", "Inception", "Answer", 'Treasure", 'WAVE' for variety and spice or vibe. For songs that basically can send you into heaven (lol) try "Turbulence", "Be With You" (b-side), 'Take me Home', "Aurora", "Mist', "Star 1117", "Not too late" and 'Light'.
Also, please do check out Ateez's performances like Kingdom From the Wonderland Sympony no.9 (all their kingdom stages are worth checking out), Immortal Song performances like "The Black Cat Nero" (performance and also the MV too).

Because you said you liked the choreo, I'd definitely check out ATEEZ's Hala Hala (Performance Ver.), Fireworks (I'm the One), and Inception. Actually, it's nearly impossible to pick favorite songs lol. They're a lot like Stray Kids and EXO that way: anything you pick is gonna be legendary in its own way.
I think ATEEZ, Stray Kids, and The Boyz are considered some of the best 4th gen kpop groups. I don't know if you'd be able to react to it on YT, considering how MNet can be with some of their copyright, but you should definitely watch all three groups perform during the 2020 MAMAs as well as the "Triangular Fight" which features each group's main dancers. By far some of my favorite live performances!

I can't tell much about Ateez since I am still on my way to become an Atiny (their fandom), but so far I loved everything from them I saw. I, at least, have a new boygroup to add to BTS and SKZ.
If you have time I highly recommend the Kingdome Performances by Ateez and SKZ both.
