I always wanted an elementalist specialization that took power from devotion to the gods. Fire is balthazar, water is kormir, melandru would be earth and dwayna would be air. then also a necromancer all about grenth and dhuum.
Cool idea! Though sadly, if it were to exist it would just be exclusive for Humans in order to maintain cohesive world building. That's why "Golemancer" isn't an available class either because it would just be exclusive for Asura players. (And that's also why we have the race specific elite skills.)
I do love how Guild Wars plays with the concept that humans are actually the aliens in the world and, as humans are wont to do, they colonize everything lmao
You made a mistake. the gods did not appear in Cantha, but in Orr. They then left for Cantha where they brought the humans (if it was really them who brought them) and then returned to Orr where their presence (as well as that of Zaithan sleeping under the continent, and that of the original Bloodstone) caused the humans living there to become extremely powerful in the use of magic and made Orr the most powerful nation in the world.
