If you loved “Descendants 2” on Disney Channel as much as we do, you have probably watched the movie several times. We can never get enough of our favorite actors like Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce, China Anne McClain, Sofia Carson, and Booboo Stewart. And with this new obsession also comes a lot of theories. This is why we are showing you 10 “Descendants 2” Fan Theories That Will Blow Your Mind.
Have you ever been wondering who Mal’s father was? We all know that her mother is Maleficent, but how did this villain ever found a partner? Fans have many theories to explain who would be the baby’s daddy. And our favorite one is probably that Belle gave children to the villains on the Isle of the Lost so they could learn how to be better people.
Actress Dove Cameron loves the movie so much that she came up with her own theory. She thinks that Harry Hook and Mal used to date, but she broke his heart. She also used to be friends with Uma, but she left her for Evie, saying that she was not good enough. That’s probably why Uma and Harry Hook decided to become friends and why they hate Mal so much after what she did.

In the fairytale, The evil queen is Snow White's stepmother since she was married to Snow's father. Wouldn't Evie and Snow White be technically stepsisters or something? And wouldn't Evie's Dad be Snow's Dad? Idk I'm just guessing

I don’t think Mal has a father
Maybe Aurora’s parents (Sleeping Beauty’s parents) got fairies to put a spell on Maleficent so she would have a child (Mal) because Maleficent was the reason Aurora fell asleep
Follow up theory: Aurora fell asleep on her 16th/18th Birthday
And maybe the fairies planned for Mal to be ‘taken away’ from Maleficent and off the Isle when she was 16/18

In the first book it said Mal's father was a human. That is one of the reasons Maleficent disliked Mal so much, because she was half human her mother thought she would never reach her full power. Also Mal's full name is Maleficent but her mother refused to call Mal her full name until she became truly evil.

I think they should bring in the characters they made in the descendants shorts or the cartoon version after the first movie I liked those characters one was the daughter of Alice from "Alice in wonderland" and one was the daughter of genie another was the daughter of dr. Facilier just to add more contrast.

My sister and I were upset and disappointed that they weren't in Descendants 2. :( Heck, we had a small peak at Aladdin and Jasmine, but I wanna see more parents of VKs and Aurodon kids!! I wanna know if, for Jordan, they show her mom being Eden from the Aladdin tv series!! And if THAT'S the case, they need to show the kid Dhandi from that episode--episodes? It's been a while...--as well.
Most of these theories could be easily debunked by the Isle of the Lost book series. Horace and Jasper had their own kids. The only canon material was Dove's thing with Uma, they were best friends until she dumped Shrimp on Uma.
Descendants 3? I'd love for Diego de Vil and Aziz to show up :p

I stand by the theory about Evie's father because I read the Land of Stories books and in the book the evil queen (the Enchantress) is in love with the man in the mirror because they were lovers but he got trapped in the mirror. So that kind of make sense.

I feel like soooo many people think these movies are for little kids, but there really is a plot and the actors are teens. They are so into it too!!! So ha.
I would like to see Secra, the daughter of Scar! i have a whole story about it!! The story goes like this: From a young age Secra turns into a human and never turns back, she tries to ask her father about what could have happened but he tells her that he doesn't believe that she is his daughter, she becomes homeless but still a villain. and a very evil one i should add. She later discovers that she has super speed, super jump and super strength and those powers combined together break the barrier. Secra finds a path, and follows it, and it leads her to Auredon where she meets king Ben, who is too nice to say no to a homeless person, he lets her stay at Auredon and then she meets the one and only Mal, Secra becomes friends with Mal but tries to turn her evil by making her laugh at mean things. Later on they meet at the woods near a lake when Mal tries to ask Secra "Have you been making laugh at all that just to turn me evil???" where Secra replies with "Maybe..." Mal tries to ask why but before she could finish her sentence, Secra gets angry and shape_shifts into a lion, and pushes Mal into the lake, but Secra later notices that Mal can't swim and without knowing what she is doing, she helps mal but then... She asks mal "What is that feeling on my chest??" Mal replies with "You mean your heart? That's the feeling you get when you do a good thing!" Secra then becomes good and learns how to control her shape_shifting powers and Secra and Mal stay friends forever, Oh!! and everyone knows i love a good romance so at the end, a love intrest shows his feeling to Secra. Sorry this comment was so long but i think you should do a video about stories or just characters that fans want to see in descendants 3. Again, sorry this comment was so long, i just love to use my imgination at times!!!

Think abt it, if you've seen the short movie where you learn what happened to Ariel's mother, then you would know that Ursula used to take care of the girls, with some pet sea creature I forgot abt. There, you see how Ursula rly wants the crown, meaning she would probably do anything for it, even try and take Triton's mind off of the loss of his wife, almost twelve or how ever many years before. Uma should battle her mom, Ursula to see who would take over a ship and the restaurant and Uma should turn good for a little while, go to Aurodon, sneak Harry and Gil into aurodon and try to take over and kidnap the king and Queen of aurodon, Beast and Belle

I think that they should get Neverland involved, and have the daughter of Peter pan and Wendy go to the isle of the lost as a mix up. She meets Harry, and doesn't want to know him because he is the son of Captin Hook. But Harry has other ideas, he wants to get to know her, and be "friends" with Peter pans daughter. Her name would be Payton, and she would have already been to the isle of the lost. She's 16, and when she went to the isle when she was 12 with her mother, she met Jay, Evie, Carlos, and Mal. They all became friends and she and Jay started dating. But she broke up with him when she thought that he liked someone else. Payton and Harry became friends and even protected one another. They stayed friends through all the drama in Desendents 3, and looked out for each other. When they both get selected to go to Arudon, Jay and Payton run into each other, it's very uncomfortable for Payton, but all of them are friends and gets through it. Harry goes to school there and gets a Lot of friends there, even Gil goes to school there too! Uma stays on the isle because she does not like being a good girl. In the end, Harry, Payton, Gil, Jay, Carlos, Mal and Evie become close friends in the end.

I think that because almost at the end of the movie, Evie says "There is a lot of kids who would love it here" Then she said "Do you think I could give you a list?" To king Ben . Ben agrees to this idea. I think if there were to be a third movie, it would be about how the four main villains teach the new kids like Dizzy or those kids who stole Evie's glove how to fit in and the rules of Auradon. One of the new Vk's would think it's too hard to learn all of this stuff and goes back to the isle. One of te new Vk's like Jenny said Miley Cyrus or the Jonas brothers would convince the new Auradon Vk to ask if they could go back and sneak them in with them. That's what I think the 3rd movie should be about.

Maybe if u tried reading the books those theories coulda been solved or had more logical clues. Its funny how this channel only got info from the interviews (ive done all the research u could think of). The only decent and clever theory was the liv & maddie one. I get how alot of teens want old stars like miley or vanessa to come back into the dcom world but i wish we could just give the spotlight to only to the d1/d2 cast. Do realize this movie is supposed to be focused on the "next generation". Funny how most teens never even cared about the first movie in the first place
