But most of the books and even google shows jammu Kashmir lies b/w himadri and pir panjal... You know zaskar is the lower range of trans Himalayas... Lord Jagannath goes to his Maternal Aunti's Home (Mausi Maa ki Ghar) for Nine days. So that is called Nabdin Yatra. But that is not at all called Dasabatar. Chariot Festival is called in English version only. Similarly, NUAKHAI is celebrated in the western part of Odisha. It is related to celebrating and eating with the whole family and relatives the first crop after offering to GOD. The festival RAJA (रज-पर्ब )। Offering respect to mother earth, we don't do any earthwork, No Cultivation, No digging, etc. in these three days. Because we believe that during these three days, mother earth bleeds-(Mensuration process).(रजस्विला-पर्ब)।That's why it is called RAJA Parba (रज-पर्ब ). Adolescent girls wear new dresses and make merry during these three days. Hope you will do the mending part. Thanks
