Don't let this distract you from the fact Hector is going to be running three honda civic with spoon engines, and on top of that he just came into Harry's and bought three T66 turbos with Nos and Motec System exhaust.. 😅
There is an exact way to do everything. Based upon what others have done. People can talk shit and tell you how to tie your shoes. The fact of the matter is your ass sat there and watch me tie mine. Organically is optimum. I watch Josh, because of Devin. If Josh made a video of himself counting cards, I'd probably watch it. I was just addressing haters, trying to influence the process. Much love!
I’m a believer in making a car what you want it to be, I do have a hard time doing extreme things to nice cars but what we cut isn’t hurting the car and the likely hood of it ever going back to fwd would slim next to none.
2008 civic dx rack and pinion. I will be showing later on how to get this working again. I plan on running a external hydraulic pump to control the rack.
Will most likely have to drop subframe to service it if it needs removed. Which at that point trans is most likely coming out if tcase fails and metal goes through system. Same process for doing a clutch on a standard 8th gen
Great job on the fabrication, Excuse my ignorance wouldn't it be better to fabricate a tubular subframe normally I have seen s1 built do it on the old civic
The issue that comes with building a new subframe would be the engine / steering rack are still in the same spot in the car and the transfer case has to make it through. So even if you were to build a new subframe you’d have to be doing similar mods and adding on the complexity of getting control arm , engine mounts and body mounts in correct spot.

Old material kid.
@ never to old
@Craiggg12345 Definitely never too old. 😊
It makes it easier for me to raise the engine and transmission mounts 4 cm and leave the Sterling electronic 😊
fav channel is back, cannot wait to see this on the rollers
also, differently is how you have built this brand, and why we are all here! #allthewayup
🥳🥳
This car is sick even better in person
So happy for more content! Give us some daily vlogs
Doing great! I come to watch your videos to see YOU do your thing. The problems and issues, is what makes it cool.
I appreciate that!

Getting there! Can’t wait to see this car in action!
Check out Ultimate racing Civic Si Roll Center Adapter Plate Set
And instead of powder coat.. Rhino liner the subframe
Great job on the fan work
I will check into them now! Thank you
Sedan gang
Thank you for posting
Buy once, cry once! Awesome job, some serious fab skills
I can’t wait for the merch drop for this!!
Coming soon 🥳
Doing gods work showing how to do it the correct way 👏🏽👏🏽
This is simply awesome.
Making up for lost time with the content 💪💪
How convenient that yer fab guy is right next door!
Used to be over an hour away and then they moved in next door and it has made projects much easier!
Makes me want to do my 9th gen
Good video nice progress
Could you make a video about how to store an engine for a long period? I heard you saying something about putting atf in it. Thanks!
Cool build btw
Which steering rack you use ?
Hell yeah
have you looked into the crv awd subframe i know it works on the ep3
Wouldn’t raising your steering rack would have issues as far as torque steer going from a dig? Kinda like the ep3 and RSX ?
If he’s lowering the car it might help with all that
I think Devin added traction bars on his type r awd for that issue.
We will find out once it’s finished and how to correct any added issues
@ looking forward to it, I have build a subframe somewhat like this but without using the lx steering rack which was pretty cool.
@@BaderBuiltRacing honestly it looks pretty damn good. And my Honda Pilot steering arm looks identacle to that. Same crap angle and everything
Question, why wouldn't a crv sub frame work?
The CRV subframe never came with steering rack on it in this year. So you would still be left figuring out steering
@BaderBuiltRacing gotcha thanks for the info
Does anyone sell those steering rack spacers? I want to go AWD on my 8th gen
Do you have any reservations with modifying a “rare” car? Especially when cutting away the sheet metal.

Wait Alex Choi is a member’s of the mechanics team at sheep race for your car setup
@5:16 I have the same flashlight
I missed what rack this was that you put in. What’s the plan to give you back power steering?
He swapped in a DX rack from the same generation Civic.

What transmission did you use 🥺??
06 Honda crv awd transmission, first video goes over all parts used
ily ❤
That t-case looks like a pain to take out if you need to service/fix it!

@ 10th gens also have to drop subframe 😳
WOOOOOOT

@@BaderBuiltRacing Understood still a great job over all love the car

What is fun street power level? Comment down below.
IMO 700whp but this will vary depending on user experience or wants.
I peek my hatch in the background 🙈
First to comment, great content bro.
