I didn't face that problem but try uninstalling the game and install it again or switch off the mobile data or WiFi(according to which connection you are using) before you start the game and switch on again the WiFi or mobile data. Try any of these options and if again the problem persists contact the developers.
fun fact: you can make those tiny private jet plane go away by just tapping them
