Fun Twist on Japanese Knot Bag - Add a Grommet!

I cover the basics & show how to make knot bag with a boxed bottom, a squared off bottom & a rounded bottom.
In this 2nd video, I'll show you a fun twist by adding a Curtain Grommet to the shorter handle. Slip the longer handle through the grommet & it takes this little bag up a notch! It'll stand out from all the others...
The size of grommets I used might be labeled 1.56" or 1 9/16". This size works beautifully!

Right now, I only sell No Slip Backing Templates because they work so much better than paper! But I've had so many requests from those that want to try it out 1st or outside the US where shipping is expensive. I am thinking of selling paper templates. Is that something you would want?
Can the handle be longer for the shoulder?
Sure; use any straight ruler & cut each side to the length you'd like. I plan on making a larger size of this template that could still go over your wrist. In the video, I'll show how to adjust the straps to wear it over the shoulder or crossbody.

Where do you get a tool to help put the grommets on?
Hi Rosemarie - You don't need a tool with this type of grommet; you just press them down. They're really easy! I did make a Grommet Placement Tool that is just a template for cutting the fabric correctly.
