    I have a 2015 ACE 570. I didn't like the stock seat belt; it caused me to constantly brace myself for turns. I purchased the stock 6 point harness from the Polaris "Baha" edition side-by-side. You will have to weld mounts for the shoulder harnesses on the cross beam behind the driver's neck. I had to slightly trim the plastic seat skirt, otherwise it's drill & bolt in. The seat belt retractors allow the driver to lean forward and move, great for trail driving. The single belt release is handy and practical. I can provide more information if your interested in this mod.

    Man I love my Ace I'm not a beginner at all. I'm hoping to do some up grades but still fun stock.

      They're fun stock. This one is more fun. Although, if we did it again we's stick with stock size Bighorn 2.0 tires for a lower center of gravity.

    I was amazed at how smoothly it landed when he drove off the ledge. I wish my Wildcat sport was that smooth.

      Call Walker Evans racing. They are the reason that the ace landed as smoothly as it did.

      Izom we had a good time in the first one and the 570 was undoubtedly better. this project really helped take the car to the next level. thanks for watching.

      Izom Ive seen some reviews saying the 900 performs almost identically to the 570 so it's not worth the extra money.

    I love that these guys can promote bolting on $5000 worth of accessories, and then state that they didn't spend a lot of money! Ridiculous!

    • @UTVonDemand
      @UTVonDemand  6 років тому

      bigbluegpr it's all relative to how much you have or are willing to spend. We were spending $5,000 to Wyden our Honda 400EX 250Rs, and the Banshees for the track back in the 1990s. Yes, these sports are expensive.

    • @bigbluegpr
      @bigbluegpr 6 років тому +1

      UTVonDemand Yeah, I know it's an expensive sport, since I've been riding quads for 25 years. And you're right - it's all relative. My point is simply that the average guy can't afford to spend that kind of money for upgrades. Especially considering the price of machines now!

    • @UTVonDemand
      @UTVonDemand  6 років тому

      bigbluegpr we completely understand where you're coming from. I remember reading a 250cc Motocross shootout in Motocross Action in 1990 were the high-end price was around four grand. Today, dirt bikes are approaching 10 grand and the last mountain bike I purchased cost $6,000. If we had any control over the retail prices trust us, they would be far lower. All that being said, as Young Riders we would read elaborate or over-the-top builds in our favorite magazines picking and choosing the parts that we could afford and would best serve our needs. Somewhat elaborate builds are the best way we know to show our viewers what modifications in benefits are available. We assume our viewers can pick the parts that best serve their needs and if they have any questions we're more than happy to throw in our two cents. My first dirt Wheels magazine had a $3,299 1990 Yamaha Blaster review in it. On the ATV Side, the industry needs a low-cost sport ATV that adults will find desirable and fun to ride. When it comes to UTV's, ride in vehicles are always going to cost more.

    • @bigbluegpr
      @bigbluegpr 6 років тому +1

      UTVonDemand I completely understand why these types of builds are done. I guess maybe I was just put off by your "didn't spend a ton of money" comment. Yeah, I know I'm being touchy, but the average guy considers 5 grand to be a lot of money, especially when it's spent buying goodies for a toy. But I completely understand why tv shows, magazines, and channels such as yours do these builds. On another note, I'd love to have that ACE! I could have a lot if fun in that little buggy!

      bigbluegpr we had a lot of fun in it. Kind of reminds us of the old Odyssey days.

    For the additional $5000 over the initial price of the Ace 570 your can have a superior 50 inch Arctic Cat Wildcat Trail, or Can Am Maverick Trail or the Polaris RZR, bigger engines, superior suspension, better handling, on and on and on.. Why would anyone invest $13,000 in an Ace when an Arctic Cat Wildcat Trail ($11,000) would stomp it in every category, without the need of additional modifications (right off the show room floor).. The Ace was designed for mild trail riding at an affordable price.. No matter how hard you try you can't make an Ford F350 out of a Ford Ranger.. (you may spend the same amount of money trying but in the end you still have a Ford Ranger)... Totally different vehicles designed for different purposes and needs and that holds true with the Ace.. Plus the minute you alter it you have no warranty.. The Ace is fun the way that they are, why try to make it into something it wasn't designed for and probably can never achieve with any level of achievement.. You will still be running behind the 50 inch class sports (Wildcat, Maverick, RZR type).. The best thing that you can do with your ACE is NOTHING. get in it and go have fun and smile, smile, smile.. Oh you could put a set of alloy wheels to make it look cute.. That would make you smile too..

      Wow you had a big issue with other people back then hey , why would somebody buy a two seat machine if they only need 1seat ?? Reguardless of the price no body wants a ford so that analogy is lost on me 😂😉 but i see what ur saying an i offer a counter arguement 3 years after the fact who would honestly buy an arctic cat if they could afford a polaris on any level 😂👌 nah aus cancelled quad bikes as of 10/10/21 so the ace is the only quad like single seater we have now or sry the rs1 is here also 🍻 have a good day sir

    How does the 570 compare to the Honda Pilot FL400? In the absence of a modern Pilot, the Ace seems like the best way to go. Is the Ace superior in terms of performance? I mean, it has AWD while the Pilot does not, along with much more suspension travel, but is it faster?

    im looking to upgrade the polaris 570 ace for my wife so she can keep up with me on trails while im on my dirtbike, what shocks/suspensions do you recommend? the ones you installed, did it make a good difference on rougher, rockier terrain at speed?

    • @UTVonDemand
      @UTVonDemand  4 роки тому

      We ran Walker Evans racing shocks on this machine. You're never going to make the suspension work as well as your dirt bikes but it was a big improvement over stock.

    Is there a way to raise the bar where the harness attaches on that cage?
    Like weld on a cross member?

    • @grandprismatic
      @grandprismatic 6 років тому

      Yes Dragonfire? I forget the full name of the company offers a harness mount. Notice also they are also running a RZR seat, some of the RZR seats have cutouts for a harness. If not already I highly recommend ROXBLOCKZ fender flares, I increased my width 8" MSA 1" wheel spacers and STI 14" HD beadlocks that have a +3 offset. I have the exact machine they are using... I have videos of it... Since then I have added Pro Armor harness and Pro Armor Suede steering wheel & collar. Take care

    I went to the Teixeira Tech website and could not find anything listed for the ACE. My am interested in the roll cage shown in this video. Thankfully Polaris put a wider cage on the Rzr.
