Strictly’s Remembrance Sunday dances always get me. They’re always beautifully done.
Low key, the pro dances are my favourite thing each week.
Same! Should we ask the BBC to do a one-off series just for the professionals?
Yep, I hope they are being paid well, because they really do work very hard.
@@adwoamk8918 they don’t get paid anywhere near the amount the judges and presenters do, even though they do ten times the work. sad really
This really moved me to tears, beautifully done and a wonderful tribute. My late father was in the army in WW2, including D-Day on Omaha Beach and throughout Europe. He would have loved this, he wanted people to remember soldiers who gave their lives for their country and fellow citizens. Thank you, Strictly for doing something so meaningful.
My Grandfather was in the Royal Marines in WW2. He was sent to Burma. All i know is that they helped. My Grandad would never speak about what they did. Your dad is amazing along side of all our troops. You'll Never Walk Alone Has the words that is part of our lives. Your dad, My Grandad and all who fought to give us freedom. Also personal to me . I am part of our beloved Liverpool FC and that song means so much to us, Our 97 taken at Hillsborough YNWA
@@veronicaukynwa8489 Thank you for your very meaningful comments. Your Grandad was a brave man and it's wonderful you remember him with the pride that he very much deserves. Sadly there are so few WW2 veterans alive now. I'm glad we keep them alive in our hearts and words. YNWA is a song that always brings tears to my eyes. Take care 🙏🌹
This is why Strictly is SO SUPERIOR to Dancing With the Stars.
Extremely moving. Beautiful choreography and a beautiful tribute. Lest we forget ❤🙏
That ending…goosebumps!
They always do such good Remembrance dances. We'll never forget them ❤
Beautiful. As a veteran, I am so touched by things like this. Lovely. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for your service ❤
wow wow wow..... this was so beautiful, and is so good or the younger generation to understand and respect what people fought for - it wasn't just about war, but about community, and i think this well portrayed. so many countries have fought so many wars, some to avail...... don't let history repeat itself. be strong, be proud and be certain
Beautiful- I’m moved to tears.
Thank you all
Watching this brought a tear to my eye. “ we will remember them”.🍁

So beautiful and emotional
Subtle but so delicate and touching

That's why I pay my licence fee. The BBC at its best.
Oh I cried. I always get touched when I think of all those who sacrificed their life’s and those who continue to do so. This was a lovely performance.
This dance was absolutely stunning!
using the song from Carousel is genius.
BBC at its finest.
O wow.
I hate this song but the dance was just fabulous. We will remember
lest we forget
Who is dancing with Dianne
Jake Leigh.
This is so touching especially as t guy that made this song famous died this year
While Gerry did a great rendition of the song, it was actually made famous in the film Carousel in 1945
@@elizabethf1591 the original Broadway production was in 1945….film1956

Oops, I stand corrected 😬 .
Where was the jitterbug, celebrate all aspects of these heroes lives
That doesn't fit the music choice. WW2 wasnt just jitterbug man!
Singer struggled with this :(
Wow. Very poignant. Beautifuk
Repent and trust Jesus, He saves! Come to Him in humbleness and truth, in Jesus and asn for the Holy Spirit , He wants you, and please before you die or He comes because He is coming in all the Father’s glory with the angels one day, so repent and trust Him!
Remember Afghanistan 🇦🇫please.
The dance was lovely! but the one girl was wearing the wrong shoes. No sneakers in preference's like this!
Not sneakers. Shoes that were popular in the 1930's- 1940's. Flatter and more practical for day to day wearing. She's dressed more practicaly so I guess she's represently the working woman.
So why where the female dancers dressed in 1940s fashions and the male dancers dressed as First World War soldiers in a trench?!
Does it encompass both World Wars?
So why did you broadcast your poor grasp of English , ever heard of creative licence? My God , that was one of the most moving things I have ever seen in my life !
Not such a fan of this dance, mainly because the song felt hackneyed. I am also dismayed by Dan once again being voted to stay when other better people are being voted off. It feels similar to when Susannah stayed for far too long. Disappointing
Annie, you're upset but this is not the thread to vent. This is Matt Flints wonderful choreography, a tribute to the men and women who lost their lives in the wars our country has been involved in.
@@rosies14 not venting, just stating what I felt. Vent suggests anger and I don’t have anger. With regards to the dance, I felt the music was not the best choice, you are putting words in my mouth
@@annieclark-maxwell1200
Apologies I appreciate your feelings but two thirds of your post was about Dan being left in and then you went on to quote Susannah staying in too long. Still the wrong thread
Lol, they have to get the interracial relationship in there first.
