Maybe he couldn't, i noticed when I possessed a wolly rhino I couldnt use its charge ability, so all abilities for all dinos might be disabled if you possess

I like these series of trying different game modes. There is a mod called The Hunted. It's PvE but really ups the game. Dinos are often aggressive if you enter their areas. You have to steal eggs or passive tame curious babies to attain creatures. Things like Mosa's are at proper depth (nearer surface). Something worth checking out I think.

Anyone remember the game mode Ark was going to make that allowed you to be a creature? I remember the trailer showcasing you being able to be Titanomyrma and you can go into little caves where they live. I think it was around when Primal+ came out lol

I used to do this with the size command. You could change your size and I think 0 literally made you invisible. Then you force tame a dinosaur, so you don't need a saddle. And you just get on the dinosaur and it's like you are the dinosaur.
You should use the spino's claw attack.

I have a question. On the Play as Dino mod, is it possible for people to tame you? And if yes, how much autonomy do you have?
You ARE tamable or the dino can be the leader of the tribe which is easier because you can send tribe requests as a dino. Your tor, tho, is in your menu/leveling area. You can increase it if need be but they can knock you out and tame you

you die you can take control of your dino so you have a dino life a human life
You can't get dismounted by microraptors or by other things.
