I have been using blue name brand painters tape on my 11 lines each night for the last 9 years (time flies!). I am sensitive to wheat, and wrinklies & frownies had a gluten based glue when I last looked into it. I started to use blue tape on my mouth to sleep, as it does not usually have difficulty staying on even after moisturizer. I put lip balm on, too. I remove it from my forehead and lower face gently, and it never damages my skin. When I started taping, I was 53 and beginning to get obvious 11 lines. They reversed right away. Seems to train my face to be less in h the habit of frowning….at all. Now, at 62, I have no 11 lines, and haven’t these 9 years. I think my lips are avoiding lines, too. Does nothing for my laugh lines. I don’t want to train myself not to smile, lol. I use the 1.41 inch wide version. I cut it to fit across my forehead, not pressing my eyebrows downward, and add a piece going down between my eyes to the top of my nose. I make the one for my mouth wide enough to make it so my cheeks don’t wrinkle when I sleep on my side (wide), and cut a v shaped notch out for the base of my nose. My husband kindly started using it on his mouth to end snoring. Sometimes moisture loosens, but usually works well. I’ve saved thousands on Botox this way, though I will use it if wise. Good luck everyone!
If you are sun sensitive and squint a lot always wear big sun glasses. Get your tension and pain levels under control if you get angry or are in pain a lot, most Drs can read it in your face. That’s what my orthopedist told me.
I use medical tape - very cheap. Two pieces on top of each other. I also use pure the argereline he mentioned. I've seen a marked improvement and it's cheap!
I've just started using frownies.. after 1 night my forehead looks smoother and lines a bit less deep, so I'm going to try to do these every night for 30 days, then a few times a week.. apparently it trains the muscles to relax and not frown as much.. I don't think it'll get rid of them but hope to see an improvement. I'm also using argirline daily now.
Hi Dr.:) I just want to say thank you for recommending vitamin K2 D3 in a video I watched about 2 years ago. Long story short, I just had my vitamin D levels checked & they are amazing. I'm trying to conceive so getting everything checked. & I know my levels for vitamin D is good because I've been taking it since your video:) so thank you:)
These are the only lines I have at age 57. Back in 2012, I started a 2 yr long, very painful Lupus flare. I couldn't help but frown from the pain. I have used low % retinol for a long while, and it was so so. Since watching you, I have increased the percentage and been taking all the skin vitamins. Seems to be getting more shallow. Thank you!
I’m starting acupressure again. I did it for years and it worked well but this area was the worst along with neck lines which I didn’t do acupressure for and under eye which worked on lines but I was born with dark skin there. I wish you had a concealer too. I used Bobbi Brown but their intense one came in a wand thing and dried out easily. What they didn’t understand was that when I got their samples came in a packet they didn’t dry out. I would put it in a little container and it never dried out. Instead they made a wetter formula that is thinner and much less effective and complete. I’ve spent so much trying to find a good substitute I’m very reluctant to keep searching. I’m looking forward to being able to use your products. You sure know about the best skincare and I’m so grateful you share your knowledge so freely. Thank you.
Squinting in the sun will etch these lines too. Sometimes you need a hat along with your sunglasses. I've noticed it's worse on someone of pale northern European descent such as myself. My Greek/Italian boyfriend squints but doesn't have the 11s because he had more moisture in his nice olive complexion. I'm jealous. Night taping helps but you have to be consistent and I'm not. Tried botox once, didn't work for me because I wouldn't go back, experienced some dysphagia and it scared me. I think the biggest factor is moisture content. Keep that area supple and the lines won't etch.

I'm 43 years old and have gotten so self conscious about my 11's! I'm at the point where I look in the mirror and all I see are my foreboding elevens angrily starring back at me! Pretty sure it's largely due to the amount of politics I consume on a daily basis - so this is 100% definitely all on my doing. Thanks for this! Looking forward to trying out your recommendations! Cheers!
There is no hope for my frown lines. I tried Botox and it did nothing. The dermatologist told me that she couldn’t give me the amount that would be required to stop me from frowning. Said I had muscles in my forehead line a man’s.
What about vitamin C and hYaluronic acid serum on the whole face.. is that good for you and can it cause blindness if you put it on your face near eyes??

Hello Dr Rajani. I love your videos they’re always very informative. I was wondering if you have a video about IPL. I have melasma and have been doing treatments at my dermatologist office. How many treatments per year do you recommend?
Interesting. Training yourself ‘not to frown?’ More accurately: train yourself to have appropriate facial response. Always go for emotional comfort and screw the wrinkles. Heck.
You dermatologist must not be qualified to do this procedure.I don't believe Dr Rajani would have suggested this if it was unsafe or not doable. This is my opinion on this .
Your videos mostly very long , confusing, trying to promote your products , it's not match with your title of video , make shorter videos and useful . God will bless you
@@rajanimdskincare I guess you are upset from my comment , I didn't mean that,I watched again , you were supposed to talk about right oils for wrinkles between eyebrows, you talked about other options including Botox, since most of people know about Botox frown lines
I found this video very informative and well organized. I have had 11s ever since reading a book a day as a teen. Thank you for your generous public education films. You have the utmost integrity and credibility.
When I'm conscious throughout the day, of that 11's area, & keep it relaxed, it makes an amazing difference (in my appearance, as well as the way I feel!). When I add a small square of surgical tape overnight (which took getting used to!), viola!
Facial cupping with the smallest cup really works for this area, and much better than pressing with your fingers to massage. Plus, it feels so much better
@@florabamabelle6413 Hi, I use a brand of silicone pads called Wrinkles Schminkles, I place them on my forehead overnight (I‘m a side sleeper and frown in my sleep), every night, I notice that frown lines do form in the morning if I don‘t use them (they disappear after a while, but with time… it comes a day when they don‘t). Apart from that, I follow Dr Raj‘s skincare programme 😃 hope that was helpful to you 😃
Dr Rajani, you are a generous soul, for freely advising us about proper skin care. I wish I could be your client, but I live in Australia, and yes our sun here is vicious, thus we look 50 years old all red and crinkly when we may be only 30. Yes the massage is so true. I have a leather chair at home, and where my partner sits on this chair it is so smooth, there fore the continuous movement on this chair has smoothed out the arm rest and seat, on the right hand side. Smooth as a baby bottom. Also many years ago my friend was a model, she taught me to place a wide piece of scotch tape on my forehead, this was to make me aware of every time i would scrunch up my forehead.
I'm very fair skin with blue eyes so when I'm out side or in bright lights I squint, which does that wrinkle between my eyes, other than wearing Sunglasses what else could you recommend?
Are there some options for people with under-eye circles (blue and violet color, not yellow) due to very fair and thin skin? Because I'm terrified of needles in that zone as well.
Me as well. I’ve been looking into prf for under eyes. It’s 600 per treatment and that’s not even for ez gel. But it’s the only somewhat natural thing I’ve found that thickens the skin. Unfortunately it’s super expensive and you’ll probably need 3-4 treatments. I have very porcelain skin with genetic translucency which shows especially under the eye
Great video! And thank you for giving many options for us to choose from. I use “smoothies” brand for my elevens they are clear and medical grade silicone. I can wear them when I work from home and at night, really has made a great difference as I frown when on the computer so love wearing them when I’m working.
@@vins7cv139 yes, my elevens were becoming noticeable even when in a relaxed expression. I wear them as often as I can, every night and when I work from home as I frown when I concentrate or read. Very inexpensive way to help re-train those stubborn frown lines I have. Can you still see mild lines…yes, but are they softer, for sure!
I bought a special bed pillow after my facelift 6 years ago which “lifts” keeps my face & keeps it from being pressed all night b/c I’m a side sleeper. I didn’t like Frownies b/c my facial products couldn’t be used w/them (& taping my mouth didn’t work plus just didn’t like it). My pillow helps prevent perpendicular lines above my eyebrows & the 11’s a lot but I still get Botox about every 6-7 months which is pretty good for Botox longevity. I’m 73 & have very few facial lines. I use TRET 0.05% every 3-4 nights…it goes well with organic cold pressed rose hip oil. Other nights its matryxl or peels followed w/Omnilux masks or glycolic acid 7% with a quality moisturizer. Skin cycling works well for me to avoid skin inflammation. 😊
I’ve been doing facial exercises since I was a teenager (in the 90’s😞) when I saw Carole Maggio promote her book on Oprah😏. I’ve mostly done the exercises daily; there were a few years I didn’t do them because I was feeling miserable from cancer treatments, but once I went into remission and felt better, I restarted them🩵. IMO, this routine has helped my skin remain youthful; but also, I live a clean life: I don’t drink nor smoke (never have), I’ve worn sunscreen daily since my teens, I don’t really wear makeup, only on very special occasions like prom and graduation and my baby’s Christening 🙃, and I’ve been vegan since I was seven, but the most significant is genes: I inherited my biological father’s genes. That man did not age (I also inherited his cancerous genes, he died from pancreatic cancer 🥺). My biological mother is significantly younger than my bio dad and people always thought she was his mother🤭. My bio dad had beautiful flawless skin and rosy cheeks♥️. I have a 16 year old son and people are perplexed that we are mother and child, we are often confused with being siblings or boyfriend/girlfriend 🤨… also, I’m quite petite (not even 5’00” tall😒) and my weight is between 92lbs to 105… typically closer to the 105lbs🤫…. In short, every little bit helps, but genes is where it’s at🫶🏼

@@rajanimdskincare I guess you are upset from my comment , I didn't mean that,I watched again , you were supposed to talk about right oils for wrinkles between eyebrows, you talked about other options including Botox, since most of people know about Botox frown lines
Do you use the pads in addition to your daily retinol?
I found this video very informative and well organized. I have had 11s ever since reading a book a day as a teen. Thank you for your generous public education films. You have the utmost integrity and credibility.
Messaging and soaking face in castro oil works so well
With the price of those 3 products, I'll put up with lines, I don't want to be approached anyway😜
Frowny face = peace 😂
Face tape is super effective. I'm 42, I have been using it for 3 years every day, and bye frown lines! ( frownies)
But did were frown lines soft or a really strong mark?
@vins7cv139 the lines were showing 24/24 but not too strong and not deep. I guess it's very effective on young frownlines
which brand?
@@CC-br9qg frownies
I use the jade roller to relieve tension in that area.
'A bruise is way better than blindness.' Thanks dac!
I’ve been taping my forehead for more than 12 yrs, I thought I invented it lol
😂
Dealing with my kid deepens my 11 by at least 1mm every weekend, I think weekend child care would work wonders :)
I’m living alone split with the boyfriend, kids have grown up moved out I definitely have less lines than ever.
A far better idea is to not have kids at all

@@Sealust50 there’s still hope for when the kids is more grown up , I hope 😁
When I'm conscious throughout the day, of that 11's area, & keep it relaxed, it makes an amazing difference (in my appearance, as well as the way I feel!). When I add a small square of surgical tape overnight (which took getting used to!), viola!
Facial cupping with the smallest cup really works for this area, and much better than pressing with your fingers to massage. Plus, it feels so much better
Thanks, I'm going to try this ❤
Is it effective on deeper lines / people over 50? Can you recommend a kit for beginners?
How often and for how long you do that please?
More details!
TENS work for me
Can anyone here suggest some facial tape brands for sensitive skin?...not frownies...thanks.
I use something similar to Frownies EVERY night, it definitely works ❤
Please share info. Please?
West a visor?
Are there some options for people with under-eye circles (blue and violet color, not yellow) due to very fair and thin skin? Because I'm terrified of needles in that zone as well.
Me as well. I’ve been looking into prf for under eyes. It’s 600 per treatment and that’s not even for ez gel. But it’s the only somewhat natural thing I’ve found that thickens the skin. Unfortunately it’s super expensive and you’ll probably need 3-4 treatments. I have very porcelain skin with genetic translucency which shows especially under the eye
@@madisonreed4970same I can literally see my veins and capillaries
I didn’t think about doing it while working out. Thanks.
Great video! And thank you for giving many options for us to choose from. I use “smoothies” brand for my elevens they are clear and medical grade silicone. I can wear them when I work from home and at night, really has made a great difference as I frown when on the computer so love wearing them when I’m working.
So, how much has It improved your frown lines? Were these wrinkles Deep?
please do share the name of the pillow. TIA
I’ve been using the Sio Beauty medical grade silicone patches and was just wondering are they comparable to ‘frownies’ or face tape…?
What are your thoughts on facial yoga? Sorry you have reason to frown. I have a nice 11 also!
20 percent like face yoga, 30 percent do not and 40 percent drop out. Those are the stats I can find from my viewers and my practice.
@rajanimdskincare interesting. Thank you for the data!
In short, every little bit helps, but genes is where it’s at🫶🏼
You're such a genius Doctor
You are very kind. I share what I see in practice and on in my travels. I appreciate your sharing, watching and kind feedback
