I visited Chengdu's Panda Research Center around Christmas and saw dozens of pandas. They really are adorable, no matter what they do!

As a 40 year DC resident I cried my eyes out when pandas 🐼 flew away from DC on Panda Express plane. My grandkids loved them too & we are hopeful that Natl Zoo will get more 💕

a new pair of panda Baoli(the descendant of MeiXiang and Tiantian,previous resident of the Washington national zoo) and Qingbao (nicknamed ‘Mei Xin’ which means beautiful heart in Chinese)will come to D.C before the end of this calendar year.

Fubao is still Chinese. Panda diplomacy is like lending books from a library. Pandas are Chinese just as zhajiangmian and tanghulu and malatang are Chinese, not Korean. Books borrowed from the libraries aren’t yours. Panda diplomacy expressly states that all pandas born outside of China belong to China. Please don’t try to appropriate Chinese national treasures and Chinese cultural elements as your own…..

Fei yun- the sweetest adult panda , always in the list of prettiest panda with her half sister baitian
Jinhu- neighbour of feiyun and a panda who make a lot of noises unlike most pandas
Rou rou- a round faced panda who loves eating and food is no1 priority
Ling yan- a panda who is unusually hyperactive , love toys , play toys at midnight, being a menace to his neighbour and loves pink and women.
Qizai- only brown panda in captive, known for derpy looks, bites his neighbour ear off and very likely recounting the experience with another neighbour
Xile- that panda who throws the chair. She has quite the temper and her keeper is quite the character
Hua li/xingan- panda pair who have some insane bamboo buffet and a keeper who can praise anything under the sun
Guoqing- breaking the world record for longest panda cub in breastfeeding -3.5 years
They do repetitive artificial breeding experiments for both continual pregnancy for female and sperm extraction for male. We must help save innocent pandas including Fubao!

Wild orangutans, lions, rhinos, tigers, monkeys are illegally poached and captured to be sold to zoos, private homes, and circus in rich countries. Where/how do you think Korean zoos got their African animals?! Panda diplomacy is the only framework that prohibits private wild life sales. @@kamsunleong6648 It's the sad truth :( However only pandas are used for soft diplomacy PLUS rentals provide $million annually per panda to China not to mention the fact that even foreign born(BTW rental collected for those babies too) must go to China per current agreement and babies forced to separate before turning 4years for reproductive reasons. Pandas are no longer on the extinct list of animals so world needs to urgently revise the agreement to stop the ongoing animal cruelty in China including unnecessary research on foreign born babies/behind the scenes program deals using pandas as props
