Problem in Rouen is the geography. The Right Seine River bank (where Rouen is situated) has hills and steep valleys. Before the tunnel at 9:10 it was even worse crossing the Seine and passing through Rouen. West of Rouen the next crossing of the Seine is the Pont de Brotonne and Pont de Tancarville, before the final Pont de Normandie. But all of these bridges are huge high rise cable stayed bridges or suspension bridges.. East of Rouen there more bridges but usually there where the meandering Seine has a flat narrow bank (like in Rouen itself).
