As he said he doesn't do 1RM , or heavyweight workouts because it kills the endurance which totally makes sense . But what if we do endurance set after the workout once or twice a week? I see a lot of athletes do the endurance set after their workout. (If the only goal isn't to just increase endurance)

I personally think that heavy weights pullups can help with muscle endurance...but only if used correctly. I think that pausing at the top (isometric training) would be the best way to get the most carry over for endurance!
