Beautiful job Colm! We used to do this song back when I was with the Midnight Ramblers back in the early 90's. Always loved it. I may have to post a rendition to my channel. My paternal grandparents were second generation Irish, Peter Haley and Grace Keegan from Cork & Galway. Grace was pianist I believe she performed on Broadway before she married my grandfather.

Colm did a super job on singing Garths song, one of my favorite country singers. Loved the duet between him and Keith on The Sound of Silence. Wish there were more of them, their voices blended very good together. Hope they both go back with Celtic Thunder. It's not the same without them, and George RIP.

It seems like a lot of covers are either duplicates of the original or a cover that isn't in the style of the original at all. I really like this one because it echoes Garth Brooks and is respectful towards his style without being a replica and still being Colm's own.

One of the most beautiful, most perfect covers of a great song that I have ever heard/seen. Colm's piano has just the right touch, his voice floats high and strong, Laura's bass fills everything in absolutely perfectly, even the choices in shots, focus, and setting add to the whole experience. It became impossible to watch...or even listen to his version...after it was played at my grandson's funeral.
