However combat sports is risky no matter if your fully ready and had enough time to prepare properly. I hope volk is fully 100 percent recovered and healthy. Ive got DDP winning it, he'll actually walk forward and sean isn't as good on the backfoot while trying to defend combinations, the outside trip is there for DDP with seans feet very close together as he stands straight up most of the time. If DDP can land some big shots and steal the 1st or 2nd I can definitely see him winning by UD by using his grappling in the later rounds to see it through. plus he's the underdog so defo worth a few pennies

Dricus will probably come in with the high gaurd again to deal with Sean's jab and will force him to go to the body and commit which resutls in Sean getting caught and finished. Dricus only has to catch people one time and the fight goes downhill for them.
DDP doesn't do decisions. It seems impossible to have that type of output that he has ,and go to a decision. His foot is stomped down to the floor on the gas pedal .

Good that volk knows both guys people still sleep on DDP dude was a K1 champion kickboxing, grew up with judo and some wrestling and had mad dangerous submissions also he just a freak in terms of strength so he takes advantage on the ground when he has to force a opening. He competed in a submission grappling event against a Gracie school in south africa, they had a few blackbelts. He beat all 4 guys one after the other 😅 without his team having to help at all. He is no pushover.

They might not be friends, but I think Volk and Sean respect eachother more than either will probably say. They are very similar in ways. Neither is the best at anything, but are tough hard workers. Volkswagen is more of an athlete, but both rely on hardworking and toughness. Two of my favorites.

SS might have beat Cannonier, got KO’d by two Division champ, but look at caliber opponents through Champ Adesanya. The one who beat RW twice. Can’t wait for this fight!

I think since Du Plessis had delt with the breathing problem for so long, his muscles followed a more anabolic development, hence his size, whereas Strickland, sparing daily and training as a hobby has promoted a catabolic development. This will determine who has the juice in the final rounds....if it goes that far.
If becoming world champion automatically makes a fighter 30% better, than a Strickland that's 30% better than the fighter that beat Izzy will walk through DDP. But I see an all-out war for 3 rounds, with a Strickland TKO in the 4th. And still.

I think since Du Plessis had delt with the breathing problem for so long, his muscles followed a more anabolic development, hence his size, whereas Strickland, sparing daily and training as a hobby has promoted a catabolic development. This will determine who has the juice in the final rounds....if it goes that far.
If becoming world champion automatically makes a fighter 30% better, than a Strickland that's 30% better than the fighter that beat Izzy will walk through DDP. But I see an all-out war for 3 rounds, with a Strickland TKO in the 4th. And still.
