The rewards are pitiful for now so we can learn how things work kinda risk free
One important note is that Seige is not arena, therefore arena aura speed leads that you are used to using in arena won't work in Seige. In that regard Seige is like Hydra, where you need all battle auras. So it is the first PVP area of the game outside of arena that does not use the traditional arena speed auras.
As a deputy in a relaxed clan, a useful option for the siege mode would be that all team slots start locked in the prep phase. And only the leader or deputies can unlock them. That would funnel more players into communicating with their clan leadership.
With a lock system, once the priority spots are covered, the leadership could then unlock the remaining open spots for those who just want to drop in a few teams and not think about it.
So many of our members just dropped teams in the Stronghold or Towers as soon as the siege went live and blocked our ability to strategize since they also are ignoring the clan messages to log into our discord to discuss placement.
As I said, we are a relaxed clan and if our members don't want to put in the effort to work with their other clan members, that's fine, but they should take a backseat to the members who are putting in the effort. Give clan leaders this option to help keep things organized.
As a clan leader, I totally agree with this. We are relaxed as well, but a lot of us want to play with some level of competitiveness. It's a game. We want to PLAY! If, as a member, you don't want to play, ok, but be respectful of those clan members that do want to play & whose efforts you are benefiting from.
yea or atleast let deputies have some abilities too. Maybe they had some good ideas, but poor execution as always... you can bet your bottom dollar that any big update will have some significant bug -_-
It would definitely be helpful if leaders can just drag and drop people's teams from one post to another / swap teams

What are your thoughts on using some stronger defenses earlier in the map to force better accounts out? So that way they don’t have all their best teams at the end.

you can use conditions to enhane your defenses i mention post 11 specifically in this video.
Good way to weed out the weaker teams and forces the strong opposing champs to limit their use.
I'm doing a void only run and i have some advantages going into siege but for now i just put whoever i have and forget about it until rewards get more reasonable
I am the clan leader of a tier 1. My advice was to just fill in the blanks. Still have open spots but just do our best and fill in the spots and that’s it.
Best way to siege is do the 4 extra "classic arena" dailies and move on to the other dailies. And Defenders will ALWAYS be at a disadvange because the team is just on auto while attackers can manuel the fight (its just arena wich is bs). This means that you have to outfight the the other Clan, If the match system is remotely fair you will ALWAYS lose if you dont attack.
Scratch uploaded a video where there was a glitch and people have heaps of florins and have lv 2 stronghold and like 18k mana orbs... already bugged and unfair before it starts

I'm a deputy in a top 600 clan who has decided to attempt to take on leadership duties for Siege. You covered and confirmed everything I'm planning to post in discord to prepare everyone and get my people on the same page since some of us love PVP and some of us hate it. Thanks.

My clan leader has never said a word in clan chat and will sometimes not log for days at a time. I would like a clan that has a leader who is involved at the least. I have been playing 5 months.

Same problem, guy does millions of damage on hydra and we still lose due to the non participating clan mates. Doesn't say a word, but goes ballistic when you pick 2 top tier clan quests.
Y'all can try our clan if you want (KronikKrew). We are looking for active players. We beat nm+unm everyday, the only requirements are 10k points on cvc.

If they're going to intro new content then they need to relieve the pressure and strain elsewhere.
I suggest introducing auto-completion for Campaigns, Dungeons and Faction Wars - maybe even DT up to whatever stage you've completed.

@@BoozorTV Don't even get me started on the "challenging content" that is Cursed City: artificially and severely restrict champion pool so most people can't complete stages then show useless teams of the week to them comprised of a +1 Gnut, a +4 Gnut and a +4 mythical. Major facepalm.
Set two defenses with all battle auras and forget about it. We'll learn the rest as we go :)

I don't think I would consider it a mobile game at this point. It's on PC and Steam. At this point it's multi-platform at the very least.
I’m ENTIRELY IPHONE and Play Hours Daily Including Discord etc.
If the rewards are so bad as they say it is and I will give it the benefit of doubt and wait for the first turn to finish, I will put up a reserve team and then completely ignore this mode!
If my Clan requires my participation after that, I will look for a new Clan, failing to do that, I will look for a new game or a new hobby :)!

I haven't seen any specific communication from my clan so I don't know what they want. We have some posts that haven't been set, but I don't really have any strong teams and rarely win in live arena, so I rarely do it. What I want to know is if I set a team that they decide is bad, can I change it or delete it, or is it locked in once I set it?
from plariums notes - not sure if this helps . i am also unclear on this step - IIRC it was mentioned in the preview video for defenses.
"Defense Scrolls allow you to assign Champions to garrison a Building or Post. One Defense Team will cost one Scroll, though you can reassign that team later during the Prep Phase without losing the Scroll, should you change your mind. Each Clan gets enough Defense Scrolls for 30 Clan Members to fill all the open slots in their Fortress. Clans with fewer than 30 members will be at a disadvantage, so step up recruitment before Siege goes live!"
You can refund a scroll at any point during the prep.
If you go to the post/tower/etc you set your team, click edit and remove all the champions, right above the "Set" button it will tell you that it will refund the scroll.
And ofc you can also simply edit the team and change any champions as long as they are not used in another post.

Do not underestimate your team, just putting in your defence will filter the weaker teams and reduce their options on using their top champs.
Thanks for the replies. I saw the edit button but that doesn't help if I already have my best team there and they want me to remove that weak crap lol. Being able to remove it is good news, it gives me the confidence to at least try to help.

Let the siege play for a month and everyone will get the flow. Same old same old😂 but before that... plarium should donsomething to our in game chat... add more features and increase the character we can input. And chat refresh is not what we need.

the function of siege is just as convoluted and mangled as the dog's breakfast they call a map... this is 157% TRASH content in the form it's in right now.

@@BoozorTV I totally agree. It is tough and time-consuming, but in some clans without naming them, the guild lead has only spoken less than five times in the last week, but we are fairly high-end clan
@@BoozorTV also, thank you for engaging with me in the comments as a content creator. Could you possibly do a video covering the three entry points that I have noticed on the map? post 2, 3 and five.
These are the only three points of entry that I can find on the map and I feel that they need to be spoken about by the content creators as you guys have a larger audience and can articulate much better than just a player
i am fairly engaged leader for top 250 clan but it is a bit surprising to see how many ppl are not interested in this content at all . Without discord it would b impossible to coordinate with ppl. and even with discord it is alrdy difficult to get responses.

it is also difficult to talk about serious strategies for this content bc it could give away your clans edge for example - maybe in the future when things are more known
the entry points are noted, but focus points are likely the high traffic choke posts i believe they are posts 11 and 12. i mention 11 as one to potentially focus on since it has the difficult 'lizard only' condition
