Awesome Views From Top of Bell Mountain Park! Also, Exploring Lil' O Town of Murphy NC! S6 E3

What an amazing time we had adventuring out in Hiawassee, Georgia to Bell Mountain Park and then exploring the outskirts in the town of Murphy, North Carolina! The trip up the mountain was a little scary as it was steep going up but the Views were Mesmerizing! Downtown Murphy was unique with artwork located throughout the town. There were a lot of local restaurants and shops as well as antique stores. We had an amazing time!

What a beautiful location and so kind of Hal Herrin to donate the property. But I will never understand why people feel they have to destroy and trash public lands! Murphy,NC is where Eric Rudolph (Atlanta bomber) hid out for months before he was captured as he was rummaging through a dumpster for food by a local rookie cop!

It is a beautiful place and we want to go back! He was very kind to donate! Not sure why there’s graffiti there! Wow! Did not know Eric Rudolph hid out in Murphy NC. That’s interesting to know!! Thank you for sharing! Love learning things about different places!
