I just picked this up and I really enjoy it. I got youth right off the bat, but there’s enough complexity in there to balance it out. It’s important to note that this whiskey is not finished in 3 different barrels, but it’s a blend of three finished whiskies. Big difference. I’d give it solid B, would be an A in the $45-55 range.
Grabbed one as soon as I saw it hit the shelves. Easy sipper. Nothing special, but not bad at all in my opinion. The wife loved it in an old fashioned.
Regular AE for 40$ or this for 55$ I'm getting regular AE. But that's just me. Passed on this in KY for 60$ at Costco. Had a pour for 10$ and wasn't super impressed.
So is it barreled in one type of oak and then transferred to the other two to age further or it this a blend of 3 bourbons each barreled in different oaks and then blended together?
I had the chance to buy this but I just know this is gonna be one of those bottles I open to try it and then barely ever drink it again so I passed I already have too many bottles like that
You guys should try the single barrel sherry cask they dropped it’s like 112 proof as well buttttt $150…. I seen a few out and about and didn’t pull the trigger because of that price
Store employee jumped through hoops to stealthily tell me not to buy this bottle in front of his boss, bless his heart
Delicious!❤. Saw one left on shelf and bought it. Glad I didn’t listen to all the negatives on it. Definitely a sweet bread with sugared pecans.
This is exactly why people should always try things for themselves. Everything likes different whiskey!
I enjoyed this one, with that being said I agree with y'all on the proof- needs a lil more kick! Cheers guys!

Proof, man. Who tf at Angels Envy decides proof
I picked up a bottle for $55. It's better than the standard Angel's Envy offering.

It may go against popular opinion but man I like the taste of AE the exception being I wish the standard proof was higher, it can be a little thin.
AE is the one bourbon I actually threw up how bad it was.
I wish i had bought another cask strength angels envy after seeing this, but I’ll still give it a shot
I sampled this at Hy-Vee. I passed on it for the Baker’s High Rye Bourbon
Can yall do a blind rank all of the Penelope products? I’d be curious to see how their estate collection stacks up considering its hype
Bombergers is aged in Chinquapin! Cheers!
I enjoy the Joseph Magnus triple oak (at $80). Sounds like I'd have to try before buying this one though.
We just got this in at the store I work for. Was curious how y'all would find it.
When are y'all going to do Redwood Empire small lot series? I know Dan's a fan of them. get on it!

I'm done buying NAS juice, especially at this price. I'll stick to OF 1910 and won't be disappointed, cheers 👍
Does 1910 have an age statement?
Is that AS?
Bomberger's also uses some chinquapin (full maturation I think)
My Local Costco had them for like 39 or 40 a week or so ago
I got this and a Shenks and I initially like this over the Shenks
Shenks this year was 🗑️ sooooo
@@ithan1982 That was the first Shenks I had not a good start
@@rhuff78 just sucks cause the Bombergers release was 🔥
@@ithan1982 Maybe that’s why the Shenks was in the shelf at retail and the Bombergers was behind the case for $250

I just bought a bottle at Costco and man do I hate it. Tastes like burnt match heads
Any chance we see Knob Creek's Bourye on here?
Tastes better after getting a little air in the bottle
AE Triple Oak vs Four Gate Triple Oak head to head battle.
Tried it - tasted like it was aged 3 months in a glass jar with oak cubes.
Got to sample this. Its a nice sipper just nothing special and should be around $50.
No idea why, I am just not a fan of AE. Have yet to find one I like.
On a scale of 1-10, how drunk is Dan? Im’a say 7.3😂
I get cotton candy all day off of my bottle.
Was the grad a D- or B-?
woo hoo
This one was so meh. Missed opportunity with the Triple Oaked name
Ansolutely not. Find a place with a store pick for $10 more. Not a huge envy fan but it is fantastic at 110 proof.
this sucked. wasted my money. I gave it to the homeless man by my job
I’m imagining they water it down until it tastes good
Thx for this, I’ll pass. Stick to WRDO SP
70 for angels envy? Damn. Standard angels is $39.99 here.
$23 per oak and still not great?
Not my jam..any of them
It smells like whiteboard marker and tastes like frozen bagged corn
