cut up the wood and split it then stack it up on pallets and cover the top with a bit of plastic or a tarp if u really want to splash out .....then throw a few blocks on top to keep the cover from blowing away ........... no. need for a shed .......timber will dry quicker out in a windy place than in a shed ........
Of course, love the video, but sorry to nag Tom, The Ginger Warrior with the Moustache really needs more protective gear when chain sawing. I know someone doing similar who ended up cutting in to their leg. It only needs to happen once! Keep up the good work!
Croeso Tom and the Ginger monster. Gutted I couldn’t make the show this year but made even worse I missed the chance to say “shutmae”. The food hall is the pinnacle of quality food in the country. Thank you for showing it and great to see your dad enjoyed it too
I’ve got a ‘timbercroc’ type device which I’ve had for a couple of years. It’s a cracking piece of kit especially when cutting up thin round lengths of timber reducing the risk of kick back to zero. First class demo by dad too. Highly recommended 🇬🇧🚜👍
point of note, don't burn railway sleepers for firewood. They're treated either with creosote or modern ones with a some other nasty chemicals and you really shouldn't be breathing in whatever fumes are released. No matter how good your chimney is, some of that stuff comes into the house.
Hey Tom, Watch all your videos. Their great. If you are processing and packaging some of your milk, how about doing a video on that part. We processed and packaged all of our milk from a herd of 200 milking cows for 33 years. Thanks
big roof over as much as you can - doesnt need to be flash, scaffold poles and tin sheets or the canvas stuff scaffolders use over houses, only needs to work
you should come do the Houston livestock and rodeo show Tom, see how they do it on this side of the pond, its quite the setup (from an Englishman in Texas)
16th! Good morning Tom,Luke, Hiedie, Anna, Hanna, and the rest of the hard working crew on the farm. Including the ginger warrior with a mustache. Roger in Pierre South Dakota USA
I bought a timber Croc at the Royal Highland Show this year off that same man. Just watch you don't get your fingers anywhere the teeth. I hurt a finger nail, very saw.😢 It weighs twice as much by the time you carry it back to the car.😊
You ha8 sheeps. Why. Lol. But yes.(side note does your old man buy like those space heater that plug in yet. ) mine does, sigh😊 if he was onlywearing yellow and wearing blue dungeries. love ya duck.
Great video Tom Thanks for taking us along with you and the warrior Some huge monies spent in that ring That timbercroc looks very similar to the rig Adrian, I Farm You Farm has, and uses Reduces the chance of snatching That'll be the Royal We Tom lol Ginger reminds me of my late father, anything to make life easier, and I hope it works out for the Warrior Such a knowledgeable man Thanks guy's, bought back good memories Take care all Back UK farmer's 🇬🇧 Geoff
All ways great content maybe you should try testing some chainsaw ppe blunt saw or not deadly bit of kit please wear the correct ppe sorry to be the party pooper
ohh no now i want a lamb hot dog sausage but closest location i know about that sell them is 3300 km away haha and i dont like pork or beef sausage. by the way i can get Sucuk but that aint a hot dog but sausage and merguez aint it really either in my mind.
Good to see you out with father, Tom, he's obviously very proud of his purchase ! 🙂 PS: the 'tache suits you, Tom, no need to feel embarrassed. I recently escaped from shaving altogether - its freedom - now have the full Uncle Albert !
I always enjoy your videos (and your book), however I do have 1 gripe with the music on the video's. I like the music but don't know the names of the songs, please put the song names in the description. Someone will say use your phone but that doesn't work most of the time, so please say song name. Merry Christmas
Great video Tom, the Ginger Warrior certainly has an eye for simple but effective kit. It will certainly save his back and as he said it's a lot safer than cutting on the ground or resting on other logs. 👍.
Got the Timber Croc, a design flaw is that if you put a smaller diameter log in that's quite long and it and only engage the bottom set or two you can quite easily bend the teeth out of shape with leverage. Especially since you have to kinda push down on the log anyway for it to properly grab it.
Thanks Tom for demonstrating how most people have difficulty following instructions. The point was to have the bucket beneath the log such that it would fall into the bucket and not have to be lifted. It's part of what makes the videos fun.
You’re going to have to hide the chainsaw or there will be no wood left around the farm fence post included! 😂. Good to see you out with your dad for the day.
Amen. Thank you Jesus ❤️ Dear those who are reading this message, if you are having a hard time, remember that you are not alone and never give up. It is simply the digital market. That's been the secret to this wealth transfer. A lot of folks in the US amd abroad are getting so much from it, God has been good to my household Thank you Jesus.
Tom , why not put the bucket under the log then it just drops in as you chop , great bit of kit though , hope you and all your family and staff have a great, great Christmas 🎅 and a very , very nice a profitable 2025 . Take care 👍
@ not really if it was mounted at the very front above the toe plate. You would need a deep bucket tilted back a bit. Actually thinking of getting a cheep version and giving it a go. Just checked those are well over £200
I can guess what you think of your dad's new toy ! Keep smiling Rich W Ely UK 🇬🇧
Thats a brilliant wood holder. Especially cutting by ones self
Great video again, Tom. Nice seing dad on video again
You just made my son's evening, we bumped into you both and said welcome to Wales !! He's just seen us and bouncing with excitement 😂
You should absolutely colab. with Cammie. The dapper Ginger made a good choice with that Timber Croc.
Nice to see you two together again, having fun whilst getting things done. Don´t miss your moustache at all Tom....

cut up the wood and split it then stack it up on pallets and cover the top with a bit of plastic or a tarp if u really want to splash out .....then throw a few blocks on top to keep the cover from blowing away ........... no. need for a shed .......timber will dry quicker out in a windy place than in a shed ........
I will second that. Its what I do 👍
Of course, love the video, but sorry to nag Tom, The Ginger Warrior with the Moustache really needs more protective gear when chain sawing. I know someone doing similar who ended up cutting in to their leg. It only needs to happen once! Keep up the good work!

Timber Croc device was very cool AND useful.
Good luck with everything ahead on the farm 👍👍👍
Afternoon Tom
Good for the boss!!!
That’s a right sharp piece of kit, that is.
Oh! We were using ours on Sunday - they are great. Make chainsawing so much safer.
Looks like you both had a good time, will definitely be looking into a timber crock brilliant idea. 👍
So we all know what Dad has been doing for a few days.. great piece of equipment... anything to make life easier has to be good...
Great video Tom
top notch video tom thx
Your dad basically selling that log holder. Doing his job for him 😂
Tom!!!! u r trying to be so excited for your dad, lol BAHAHAHAHAHA
point of note, don't burn railway sleepers for firewood. They're treated either with creosote or modern ones with a some other nasty chemicals and you really shouldn't be breathing in whatever fumes are released. No matter how good your chimney is, some of that stuff comes into the house.
Please wear proper trousers and helmets so many accidents with saws be safe both ❤

Very interesting. Could be used on one of Tom's cheese sandwiches ?
The best log holder is a mini digger with a thumb 👍
you should come do the Houston livestock and rodeo show Tom, see how they do it on this side of the pond, its quite the setup (from an Englishman in Texas)
16th! Good morning Tom,Luke, Hiedie, Anna, Hanna, and the rest of the hard working crew on the farm. Including the ginger warrior with a mustache. Roger in Pierre South Dakota USA
Those two lads, Dylan Thomas, a famous Welsh poet.
That timber tool looks awesome and I think il be picking one up for my timber businessy stuff! Awesome video Tom 😊
I bought a timber Croc at the Royal Highland Show this year off that same man.
Just watch you don't get your fingers anywhere the teeth. I hurt a finger nail, very saw.😢
It weighs twice as much by the time you carry it back to the car.😊
A lumberjack log roller, does the same thing only doesn’t hurt your back
I bought one a few years back. Bloody brilliant piece of kit.
Tom I think in every video you look more and more like your Dad ( just slightly younger looking )
You ha8 sheeps. Why. Lol. But yes.(side note does your old man buy like those space heater that plug in yet. ) mine does, sigh😊 if he was onlywearing yellow and wearing blue dungeries. love ya duck.
can you bolt it to the manito bucket so you dont have to pick the logs up?
I've got a Timber croc, its great, makes sawing logs alot safer. They are also really well made!
Ur dad looks like Captain Winston from The Mummy.
When is the Myerscough calf show on coming out

Great video Tom
Thanks for taking us along with you and the warrior
Some huge monies spent in that ring

Reduces the chance of snatching

You got rid of the moustache woohoo
You did not seem impressed with what your dad brought TP 🤣🤣
Good to see you out with father, Tom, he's obviously very proud of his purchase ! 🙂

The champion individual lamb carcass sold for over £3000
The price doesn't make the meat taste better. New Zealand lamb surpasses Welsh.
@@keithroberts4559 fresh v frozen .............I think not ....!
More handsome without the mustache.
Hi
I bet your dad's deal was "give it to me at half price and I'll promote it on UA-cam", lol. Am I right?
When are you going to be on fed by farmers pod cast
TOM please delete the scam bots
Love the video very cool show to go see. Great bye by the ginger guy. Everyone have a great week with happy cows. Be well be you.
Timbercroc some job
Keep the ginger guy safe needs proper chainsaw trouses boots and helmet with ear defenders
Great video Tom, the Ginger Warrior certainly has an eye for simple but effective kit. It will certainly save his back and as he said it's a lot safer than cutting on the ground or resting on other logs. 👍.
🇨🇦👍
Sound issue?
That champion steer you said made around £3000 looked like a lim but was part beef shorthorn according to the Welsh TV coverage
Got the Timber Croc, a design flaw is that if you put a smaller diameter log in that's quite long and it and only engage the bottom set or two you can quite easily bend the teeth out of shape with leverage. Especially since you have to kinda push down on the log anyway for it to properly grab it.
Hi good morningTom from Indiana
Good morning Indiana 😂😂
I’m famous !!! 😂😂 great video
Thanks Tom for demonstrating how most people have difficulty following instructions. The point was to have the bucket beneath the log such that it would fall into the bucket and not have to be lifted. It's part of what makes the videos fun.
Danger to leave the Ginger man alone haha 😅
This can take basically any wood a human can lift into it. Sounds like my ex.
You’re going to have to hide the chainsaw or there will be no wood left around the farm fence post included! 😂. Good to see you out with your dad for the day.
I hope the inheritance tax isn’t a worry for you. I personally think it’s wrong and should only be implemented if you sell.
I would like to put my honey up against his? Just saying
Getting rid of the tash takes 50 years off you tom lol
Amen. Thank you Jesus ❤️ Dear those who are reading this message, if you are having a hard time, remember that you are not alone and never give up. Congratulations!! The scriptures clearly states there's going a transference of the riches of the heathen to the righteous. God keep blessing you.
But how do you make so much in a month? mind sharing?
It is simply the digital market. That's been the secret to this wealth transfer. A lot of folks in the US amd abroad are getting so much from it, God has been good to my household Thank you Jesus.
Big thanks to Mrs Elara Marie Wells.
Her top notch guidance and expertise on digital market changed the game for me.
Being a judge at a pork sausage tournament would be the best job in the world 🤤😂
Why does the Ginger Warrior look all polished and dressed up, but his son looks like he's ready for farm work?
Because he can’t afford new clothes after investing in some paint.
Tom , why not put the bucket under the log then it just drops in as you chop , great bit of kit though , hope you and all your family and staff have a great, great Christmas 🎅 and a very , very nice a profitable 2025 . Take care 👍
Wants mounting on the side of a deep wide bucket would work well I think. You could cut up to 8 ft without picking up Good idea
That negates the point of having nothing under the saw to damage the blade on. But would work for some
@ not really if it was mounted at the very front above the toe plate. You would need a deep bucket tilted back a bit. Actually thinking of getting a cheep version and giving it a go. Just checked those are well over £200
honey gwenyngruffydd
i love me a bit of fine honey. ordered some for me morning toast.
Great video Tom
