Sometimes it's nice to do things other than voice teacher reviews 😊 I had my album release show recently and amongst the originals we played , we also performed a cover of my favorite song by my favorite band of all time; "The Killing Kind" by Marianas Trench . If the band works on timing and the drummer works on his own timing, it will be much better.

@@EmiPellegrinoMusic I'm in an a capella group as a bass, so I value the work that goes into and the value provided by lower ranges. I actually just did a song with an alto-bass duet (Castle by Halsey). Maybe I'll try to write an a capella version of this song? IDK if I could do it justice tho. Definitely gonna check out more of your channel:)

For me this was a miss. I might have liked it better if the acoustics of the venue and quality of the recording were improved. But I doubt it. It's too bad b/c I think that Emi is a talented singer (e.g., "The Show Must Go On"). Just not here. And the band was not tight. For example, 5:42 is a mess.

I agree with you, she has a great range and a powerful voice but I felt that the ending pronunciations of words was a little bit lacking however it could be just from the video quality. She definitely rocked the long held notes. My opinion is unbiased as I have not heard her perform anything else..
Bob Walters we cannot grow as artists if we do not accept constructive criticism. Even the best of the best need to grow. Acknowledgment of that is what separates the good from the great.
