Pile 3 - I left a long relationship about a year ago because he never took me and my personal goals seriously. In this past year I've made a career switch into a field I love (and that he would've hated) which is also really well paid, I'm planning a month long international holiday and I'm just having fun meeting new people and trying all sorts of new things I've never done before. He recently contacted me for the first time in months because he "wanted to catch up". Only reason I agreed in the first place is to hear him out one last time, to say whatever I left unsaid when we broke up because I wasn't ready to face him at that time, and to personally let him know I'm not interested in staying in touch anymore.
