That's why we have one prime Time game and a special game and we're only favored in two games the entire season. Also, Vegas has the Raiders at 6 and 1/2 wins all because our quarterback is Aiden O'Connell
It's not that I don't like Minshew because I actually do, it's just AOC has more upside and if he's as good as I think he will be, we're going to win a lot more games than people think.
Remember when everyone wanted him to start in the preseason...he still the same guy.

Us old heads can remember the likes of Jamarcus Russle, Todd Marinovitch, Andrew Walter etc. Guys that just didn’t belong in the NFL, just could NOT get it done.

I;m getting sick of these guys it's like they want the team to fail. They are probably young and never got to see them when they were great so they're negative as hell. A. He’s a rookie not a 5th year vet and has the capacity to get better and HAS gotten better.

1 if you count Mahomes and let me tell you it isn’t his legs that makes him great. It’s his field vision, the way he can process information faster than anyone else, his accuracy and his arm strength.
AOC has those traits that he can develop.
AOC had a solid year for a rookie! The question is how high his ceiling is. We'll find out after year 3.

FYI to all who don't know AO12s history. He was a walk-on at Purdue, was 8th on the QB depth chart in the off-season, secured a scholarship, and took Drew Brees out of the Purdue record books. He owns ALL the QB records at Purdue!

Aidan O’Connell is the only sophomore Qb that’s not getting a chance will Levis Bryce young stroud Richardson all I heard was that they got a team built around them this offseason and they are going to be good but when it comes to O’Connell they just say he’s gonna be a bottom 5 Qb when he showed so much potential more than most rookie QBs last year and he had a proper team built around him

Exactly you definitely know ball people forget he was a ROOKIE last year that finished with 12TD and 7INTS he outplayed Bryce Young who had 11TDs and 10INTs Carolina would love for Bryce to have Aiden’s numbers.
@JYoung-fl8fc Aidan did not call the plays. He only had 10 pass attempts in the last 3 qtrs. That was the coaches call. Of those 10 pass attempts, 3 were dropped passes that should have been caught (probably because it was raining). Two passes were clear pass interference's that the officials didn't call. (if you believe that the NFL has it in for the Raiders, especially against the Chiefs, there's your ammo) After the game AP praised Aidan for his QB play. He said that he did what he was told.

It’s not that he can’t play some of the things he did last year were rookie mistakes. Problem is he in a division where mistakes can kill a team. I think Aiden has some skills that could help him succeed for sure. I'm just worried about AOC's ability to evade the pass rush and be creative when a play breaks down.

I believe he could have a great second year as well, I think its better if people have absolutely no faith in him, and he comes out and pulls some crazy shit. Best feeling in the world, and I can see it coming from him, and that's no bias whatsoever with me just being a Raiders fan. We saw how accurate he is, that's a cornerstone foundational piece of a QB, if he dials in some other stuff, he can be an above average QB that can do things for us people don't think he can.

I'm no fan of AOC, he has a lot of work ahead of him. He has a good team that helps him which is a positive and a great coach that gets the team fired up and willing to put it all out there for him! Aiden is the better passer. He's WAY more accurate than Minshew is, but Minshew is more mobile. But overall, I think AOC will have better numbers. He'll complete a higher percentage of his passes
