Mountain Asog/Mountain unit in Iriga City, Camarines Sur, Brgy Niño Jesus in partícular is in immediate need of this farm practice. The farmers and land owners must be taught of the right farm practice. In my area, the soil is already eroded and with depleted soil fertility. Can Brgy Niño Jesus and it's neighboring barangays connecting to the spring water source that can be developed as an irrigation for sustainable farming. There is a creek that can already be developed as the irrigation canal. The source of potable drinking water can also be developed in the area because most of the people residing in the area is still dependent on manmade well for drinking and household water source. Mountain unit os Iriga is primarily hilly. We need rescur in the programs implemented by our local city agriculture and other departments in agriculture that have direct relationship in this SALT practice. I hope this can be addressed immediately for economic alleviation, soil conservation, clean and safe water aquifer preservation. Thanks.
