Hello! We are a cattle ranch operating out of Utah. We have 3 generations working on our ranch to help raise cattle and grow all the hay. We raise our cows in the high Uintah mountains during the summer. We have been just a cow/calf operation, but we are transitioning into selling beef direct to consumer! Hopefully that gives you a look into what we do!

I’ve seen 2 videos from this channel now and I’m liking them. I personally don’t know anyone that moves cattle using dogs and the 2 videos I’ve seen show the reason why. They seem to make things worse. They turn docile cattle that are moving nice and calm into aggressive cattle that aren’t moving any faster. Just pissed off cows defending their calves. Makes them harder to handle. Not trying to criticize your methods and I like your channel, just my experience and observations.

Thank you for watching our videos! I can see why you might think that about the dogs because what's in the videos is when the cows turn to fight. What isn't included is the multiple hours of the dogs keeping them together and moving. The country that these cows are in is pretty nasty in places, so most guys around here have dogs to help. But there definitely is a balance. Hope that helps explain why we use them a little more.
